hi you can do a temp repair using freezer spray, spray it on the nand chip. and switch tv on, get the latest firmware and flash the nand chip, 90% of the time cures the problem then copy the nand contents over.Leave a comment:

sorry guys to offend you (flocko) seems everyone gone personal on me
,the kits i supply are the 1s same as other suppliers sell,i know they are toshiba mosfets,as a Panasonic account holder and have few insurance contracts i do,and worked for Panasonic for few years, 12 years ago,as there technical advice earthing points must be re soldered and and the screen earthing points where the earthing screws go must be cleaned .can cause intermittent arcing.other point screens are common with the tabs arcing causes the board to fail,john thanks...

hi all please be aware fairchild igbt that seems to work on these sets is not long term fix,i have done numerous boards,i am sticking orignal panasonic gt30f131 no returns (touchwood) fgd igbt not long term fix fellow techs thought warn you all

hi i have repaired few of these a/v board using broadcom processors, which are really really not fit for the job,if i was designing the main a/v board and i had to put this processor in, i would mount a fan heat sink, like they use on laptops to keep it nice and cool,bga balls crack internally(unleaded rubbish) causing all sorts of problems no hdmi,or switching to standby intermittantly, or standby led blinking,best thing get our chinise mates do a stencil for you,then reball it using lead balls, make sure bottom heater is applied to full board...Leave a comment:

hi quite common problem with these type of screens,strip the screen tab pcb and switch tv on feel all the screen tabs if you find any of them getting extreme hot or burns your hand means screen faulty,if not please check all smd ceramic caps for low resistance quite common for caps going leaky (low resistance or short) will take time to check but you will find 1 which meaures funny ,Leave a comment:

hi reece it was nice watching your you tube video, fitting 1 of my kits, for a sec i thought you was going to call my kit crap, but lolzz you changed your mind,i need to add further tips please please take transformers out of circuit test them with inductor meter compare them with known good transformers and refit them,i had them where solder looks great but its a dead pad at bottom, other note is my kit has the full intruction sheet with them few added tips, i hope this tip helps other techs nice video reece keep it up be better on work...

i am the 1 that supplies the kit on ebay with up rated mosfets and fuse and controller ic, but the magic thing is the long instructions i provide, you need to do,the parts are the same but its doing what i have laid out, you will need a inductor meter,and 45 min of your time to do the inverter repair to the tee. Or else it will fail in 1 hour or 2 days i hope my kitselp all fellow techs keep me posted
