    Magnovox 46ME313V/F7 plug in turns on but will not turn on after you turn it off

    I need some help.I am a Newbie to this forum but I have been repairing tvs as a hobbie for about the last year. I bought a tv that is only 14 months old that if you plug it in will work perfectly and turn off perfectly but then will not turn back on unless you unplug it for 30mins.I also do not know how to check the power board because it does not have pins that are marked with correct voltage as everyone i HAVE REPAIRED BEFORE.It has a ribbon from power board to mainboard with no markings as I have seen before. Please help guide me in how to determine how to check tv for bad part. thank you all in advance.

      The stand by light stays on when you turn tv off and I have found that if I unplug the wide ribbon from power board to tv just for a minute then plug ribbon back in and plug tv back in it will start up properly but as soon as you turn tv off it will not start back up untill u unplug tv for 30 mins or unplug ribbon for a minute the hook it back to main board. Please help if possible. I am just trying to find out if I need to replace mother board.

              Yes tv has picture it works perfect until you turn it off . When you turn it off the stand by light comes on and when u try to switch tv back on nothing happens. The red stand by light stays on but if you unplug it for 30 minutes and plug in it will start up properly and shut off properly but once again will not turn back on.

                                          I have not repaired this one . I had replaced mother boards and power boards in about 25 tvs over the last year but was always able to test voltage at pins that where marked with voltage to first determine if I had the 5 volt stand by voltage but this tv does not have the pins with wires it has a ribbon from power board to mother board. I do know that if I unhook the ribbon from the power board to the motherboard and then reinsert it tv will turn on but as soon as you turn it off it will not turn back on unless you unhook the ribbon again or unplug tv for 30 mins.

                                              Black probe to chassis the red to each of the jumpers highlighted in the picture.

                                              Type out the labels next to them and the reading when the set is on and off.

                                                  Thank you newtothis. I will do this tommorrow night and reply . Thank you again for trying to help me. Im fixn this tv to give to my daughter thats in college in Florida. Shes poor and watching Netflix on her phone nightly so Thanks again . I will be back for more help tommorrow

                                                                          Ok what I need you to do is disconnect the cable from PSU to Mainboard.

                                                                          You will need to use a ~500ohm resistor to jump the 3.3v jumper to the PSON jumper next to the ribbon. Retest voltages.... The PSU should now be on with all voltages as normal, Then remove the resistor and see if the PSU shuts back down and give me the voltages again.

                                                                          If the PSU shuts down your Mainboard is at fault, If it doesn't its the PSU at fault

                                                                                  I was giving this ASUS ROG G750JM that exhibit the following behavior:
                                                                                  When you press the power button, the computer turns with no image and turn it's off within 7 seconds. The battery charges when I connect the AC power. I tried flashing the bios with the uSB method and pressing Ctrl + Home and I can see the bios upgrade on external monitor.
                                                                                  My issue is the laptop doesn't stay on for a long time and turn itself off.
                                                                                  Any lead on how to resolve this will be appreciated.
                                                                                  I cannot boot in windows and no liquid damage.

                                                                                  MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable to reset the computer. I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work...

                                                                                  Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on.
