    Check and see if you get the +135 volts on the main board near the flyback, it should be marked, if not check it on pin 3 of the flyback transformer or C525.
    If it is there for a short time before shut down the power supply is working and you don't need to check in that area.
    I suspect that it is a is a shorted component somewhere in the high voltage/horz. deflection circuit.

    So is there +135 volts? if yes
    is there the +200 volts on c513 or cn508 pin3 ?

      havrnt had time to do any more on the set due to family commitments but I'm going to see about checking voltages tomorrow, thanks for the info much appreciated

        Hi, sorry for the extremely delayed reply

        There's 135v b+

        I removed the HOT and connected an incandescent bulb, stayed lit for a few second
        There's only two voltages present on the Flyback, they are the b+ in and the 200v pin which reads as 135v.

          I have also checked the main filter cap and diodes around the HOT and they appear fine.
