Check and see if you get the +135 volts on the main board near the flyback, it should be marked, if not check it on pin 3 of the flyback transformer or C525.
If it is there for a short time before shut down the power supply is working and you don't need to check in that area.
I suspect that it is a is a shorted component somewhere in the high voltage/horz. deflection circuit.

So is there +135 volts? if yes
    is there the +200 volts on c513 or cn508 pin3 ?

Hi, sorry for the extremely delayed reply

        There's 135v b+

I removed the HOT and connected an incandescent bulb, stayed lit for a few second
There's only two voltages present on the Flyback, they are the b+ in and the 200v pin which reads as 135v.

I have also checked the main filter cap and diodes around the HOT and they appear fine.

Strange CRT Fault (Sony Trinitron M1410U)
            by sickboy
This is a CRT I sold a few months ago and it's came back with this weird issue. It's intermittent, but not a thermal fault, or tap sensitive - just completely random. The right side of the picture completely blanks out (picture is not shifted). The on screen display is unaffected though, so not a fault in the line section. Anyone seen anything like before in a CRT?

Sony kdl 65xg9505 green amber blinking
            by shahnld
            Good Day.

I just replaced tcon on my sony kdl 65xg9505 and getting green amber leds blinking. all voltages are ok according to working sequence.

i downloaded firmware from sony and there is no .pkg fike.. after extracting it gives another file which contains multiple files like inf, payload.bin and 3, 4 other files. i just did that usb but did not worked. anyone knows anything how to do it..?

green amber blinking stops after while and then starts again. tv responds to remote control on off etc. before installing new tcon backlite was coming on without backlite...

            Sony Trinitron KV32FV27 Suddenly Dimmed
            by cmonkey
A couple of days ago I finally got my hands on a locally sourced Trinitron and after lugging all 175 LBS home I gave it a good cleaning inside and out. The guy said it had been in a shed for 2 years, but the outside wasn't too bad. The inside was another story and while there was no evidence of mouse, it had certainly been kept in a VERY dirty home.

I cleaned it to an acceptable level of grime, at least clean enough to where nothing would heat up from the dust insulation. I then tried it out and it worked!

I'd say I had it on for about 15 minutes or so and then lugged...

Sony Trinitron (KV-20FV12) Vertical Deflection Stopped
            by motorahead
Hi everyone, I've been troubleshooting my 20" Sony Trinitron (KV-20FV12) CRT after it failed to show a picture. The standby LED is blinking 4 times, which according to the service manual is a failed vertical deflection via the self-diagnostic check during power up.

After getting the TV checked out by a technician and doing research on my own. The most obvious first step was to replace the IC502. I've done so with an exact NOS replacement with no luck. I've read a few suggestions to make sure the 12V supply to pin 2, but that voltage check would seem misleading? It seems if the...

            LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
            by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

            Then each time...
