    400WHC8LV1.3 TCON schematic help needed

    What is IC2. It's a US8 package and reads 382.

    It's connected to the positive charge pump output of the TPS65160. This charge pump however is inactive as well as the boost circuit because EN2 is LOW.

    The EN2 also goes near this chip and there is a point where it says TCON_RDY. Could be some kind of supervisor chip? It's heatsinked though via a rubber pad, maybe a linear regulator?

    I don't get VGMA voltages on this board, not even sure where they should come from, it's a multilayer board, there are 3 chips reading i7514, not sure what those are either.

      The i7514HS seem to be 4x Opamps.

          Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort.           Hi There,

          This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

          After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

          I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground.           Hi,
          i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.

          Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.

          Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?
