    42PJ350 click noise

I've read all thread about this problem in this forum.
I tried everything I read about, but same thing.

So, I disconect the connector from Y-sus.
Now, I have only the main board connector on.
I have only the 5V standby.
In fact, with a scope I see that the power supply with 6 pin regulater works, but works for standby, I mean I have burst on chopper out, but low frecunency. When rellays click, the burst goes higher frecuency, wich means that the source is trying to start.
The 2 resistor 22ohmi are ok.
I changed D304, but same clicks.

I tried to find a schematic for this power source, but with no succes.
Can any body help me with some advice?

LE: With connector prom PS to main board removed, I Connect M_ON to 5VSTBY, RL_ON to 5VSTBY using the 500 ohmi resistors. No Vs/Va/17V, just 5v standby.

is this the EAY60968801 power board ?if it is IC701 (F431MSF17) could be faulty and possibly R108/9/10/11/12/13 on the bottom of the board, And stops power on. Flocko

No. The PSU board is EAY60912401.
      And thanks for your reply.

I don't think that is something very complicated, because sometime is working great for several minutes. Aftar that, the clicks begins for half an hour and then is working again. And so on.

Hi. I have the clicking noise from the same TV. Ysys board was shorting, replaced 2x30f124 and ysys now OK. The problem is on my zsys board the diode D41 is showing short when on board and ok when desoldered. Any one can help?thanks

On the net check out a company called Charles Hyde and son in Pocklington, in the search box put this part number KT360 , this is the kit you need for intermittent clicking.

Resolder coils on Zsus the diode is fine as its connected with the resistors which have a low enough ohms across them to show up as S/C.

Hi. Resoldered coils, is still clicking. When trying to power up voltage goes up and then it clicks and voltages back down. With xsus disconected from controler board every voltage stays normal

Just recently repaired one of these the xsus was faulty but upon fixing it had also blew the Ysus just an idea

Yes when the coils for the erc on the Zsus fail they can kill the fets (normally 30f128 pn) on the ysus.

Monitor making weird noise when charging resolution or in standby mode
                            by Antony2023
Hello, guys i need some help, i have an old fujitsu siemens LCD monitor, and is making weird noise when is changing resolution or in standby mode.

I open it up, to see if it is any hardware damage, but i only see 2 capacitors bulging on the logic board, i'll probably change them. On the power supply circuit board, only one thing caught my attention, the transformer seems to have leaked something out of it and the mess around it. Do you think there may be a problem here?...

Removing electrical noise introduced by fan
                            by tony359
                            Hi all,

I am working on a sound processor, it tends to overheat so I fitted a fan inside. The fan is connected to the +15V of the PSU via a DC-DC converter based on the LM2596 to reduce the voltage to around 10.5V.

Unfortunately the analogue circuitry is picking up the noise from the fan in two ways:
                            1. The fan is close to the analogue section, the motor itself gets into the outputs so I'll have to move it somewhere else
                            2. Even with the fan running outside of the case, there is still some noise which is clearly going back to the processor via power line....

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
                            by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

Onkyo TX-SR805 noise in one channel
                            by MegaZAC
Surprisingly enough, this receiver doesn't have the DSP chip issue. The HDMI board does not get hot, and sound over HDMI works fine.

Regardless of the input, the right channel has noise that is clearly noticeable even on average volume level. The only cases when there's no noise is when VCR input is selected (some tracks on the board are damaged, maybe that's why), or if HDMI input is selected but nothing plugged into it. In all other cases, even when no input is connected I still have the noise.

There's some logic behind it. As soon as I select an input I get only left...

Philips HTS8000 home cinema noise problem
                            by courtcircuit
                            Hello

I have since a long time a Philips HTS8010S/01 which has been old but was doing the job.

Since a few days, it starts by making a weird "static" nois when switches on for a few seconds to a minute and then works like a charm.
Noise loudly outputs from the 3 channels, even if no signal is sent by the controler.DVD to the subwoofer/amp unit.

I was thinking of a soldering that was starting to be damaged and that was only doing the job after a few seconds of heating, most probbaly on the power board
                            Removed each of tyhe boards
                            ...
