Hi. Downloaded this attached bios file for the a1278 2009 820-2530 motherboard and the mac starts up but when trying to install os everything goes in rusian and the screen goes yellow. the old bios someone must have messed with it as chip was erased. anyone can help please... -

i dont work on laptops,macbooks only but backlight 3.3v sounds to low for me to say its ok to have backlight working. all them led diod lights there need more to light up. id say its backlight , do not heat the board. check bklight for short firstLeave a comment:

Hi. Got this macbook faulty (dead) . Managed to find the short on u4700 part number SLG4AP645AV
Replaced it and now macbook powers on and works ,charges battery fine
Now the problem is that only 5v is the voltage and not busting to 20v. When plugin external usb it comes with a port disabled as crowing to much power.
Any ideas ?

Hi everyone. Got a MacBook pro a1278 2012 820-3115b motherboard. When powers on black screen and can see if light is flashed on apple logo. Keyboard and trackpad does not work but usb keyboard and trackpad works fine. Anyway when I log on it goes to sleep very quick. The sleep led indicator on all the time.
Led output is stuck on 12.6v
Changed 4 ic drives still the same.
Then put a Windows hdd and backlight is on and keyboard works fine.
NOW then : smc fault? Bios fault ? What the hell is wrong with this. Never had this before.
Any help will be much appreciated.... -
