Hi guys ive been asked to look at this tv by a neighbour. She said to me that she called the argos helpline as that is where she purchased from and they said it was because she shut the tv off while the Netflix app was open. When you switch the tv on it goes to a blue screen for 5 -10 seconds then shuts off and back on continously. The red LED on the front blink on and off repeatedly through the whole thing. Could anyone point me in the right direction for repair ? I have attached pictures of the 2 boards in the tv.

Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV
It's probably corrupted firmware. Maybe try flashing new firmware with USB stick. Vestel has a lot of issues with firmware corruption. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV
No longer under warranty? It will probably need a new main board then.
Try and tell your neighbour not to buy another Vestel again, it's throw away garbage.
Might be worth checking some PSU voltages, perhaps try pressing down on the CPU see if it's got a cold joint on the BGA. Check LDOs: U14, U6.

Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV
I think she'd have a case under SOGA, it's unreasonable to expect a TV to only last 13 months. Argos needs to destroy these Vestel pieces of junk and send them back to the hell they came from. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV

Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV
So what new board did you try ?
what voltages have u checked so far ?Comment

Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV
Be aware that there are many board variants and you need the exact one. Also, you should still have at least the original symptoms (shutting off) if the main board was good and something else is causing the fault... the fact that you don't would indicate the main board you have received is bad. Please do not PM me with questions! Re: restart problem with Bush LED TV
Ive had trouble trying different 17MB95 boards....
It MUST be the exact same one Ive found from the same sub-make (Alba, Hitachi etc) to work, and have the same paper label number.
I fitted one--and let the smoke out as the panel was a different version to the one it was made for!

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.- Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again. - Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.

by VikramBFirst thread here on this forum, excuse me if I miss something in my first post.
I have the 55” variant of the Frame TV which is essentially a QLED tv. There's a weird problem where it would keep on restarting on its own. Funny thing is it might work perfectly for couple of days and then decides to go down the restart route. A few pointers:
1. If I let the TV sit idle for a day, for the very first time it boots after that time period it usually keeps working for 5 minutes before restarting. After that it restarts every 5 seconds.
2. I've tried the tape method and... -
by GfilipeZHi,
I'm working on a A1989 820-00850 Logic Board.
The customer complained that the machine restarted randomly.
From the analysis I made to the Logic Board, I detected a small corrosion in the IC U7430.
Although the diode values are all correct, I replaced the IC with another one. But the machine kept the same problem.
However, I noticed that whenever I use the Heaven software, the machine restarts after a few seconds. That is, it is enough to have an increase in graphics processing for the machine to restart.
Has anyone had a situation... -
by Zeonalbastai have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double... -
