My TV just suddenly went out. When you turn it on the blue light comes on only and then the only way to turn off is by unplugging TV.

yes that is the one. also I am not getting continuity from the ground at the plug in to the grounds at the connectors on the power supply.

Sorry I have never posted before it is true that there was a vage earlier post that did not provide thr information needed. Thanks for pointed out the other thread response and its true I need to test on dc not ac will post more in the next day or 2 as I am out of town. yep, recap is a good place to start, can't test caps accurately without esr meter, replace then you can at least move on with testing without having to wonder if theyr good or bad.Comment

It better to post right in the page like you did on post 4.
The power supply is working from what I see in the spread sheet.
So you need to remove that black insulator sheet off the inverter board and give use good clear pictures of the inverter board, especially around the connector that goes back to the power supply board.

My voltage reading coming out of the T.RSC8.10B 12305 board going into the TV BACKLIGHT INVERTER BOARD - VIC91801.BZ seems to be good. Those are the lamp outputs - they probably run at least 1.5kV, with about 3kV start voltage! Unless you have a meter capable of measuring at least 5kV I wouldn't even try.

Hi everyone, I have a Nintendo 2DS XL that shows the orange charging light when plugged in, but nothing happens when I press the power button — no blue light, no screen, no sound.
Here's what I've observed:
All ribbon cables are properly connected
Battery is present and in good condition
No reaction even with screens disconnected
There's a visible burn mark / overheating sign on the metal shield, right above the CPU

Hello all,
I have a Sceptre X505BV-FMDR8HJ1PE8 tv that had been gradually over time taking longer
and longer to come on, now it will no longer display any image. Original symptoms
are the red standby LED would turn to blue immediately when pressing the power on
button, but there would be a delay for the "SCEPTRE" image to appear on the screen
and backlight to come on. The delay kept getting longer, then it would go from blue
LED back to red. Then when I pressed the power on button again it would bring the
display up and work fine.... -

Have tried published resets with no help. (unplug for 10, push on-off for 30, push menu and vol +, etc.)
After being plugged in, red light comes on. Push power button and blue light comes on for ~five seconds then goes out. Power button does not turn the unit on a second time - have to unplug/re-plug before power button will try to start with blue light.
No sound, no picture (used flashlight test).
No bulging cap, no burn spots, no burn smells, nothing visual (cold joints/breaks/bugs).

Hi, I am waiting for my uart tool so I can grab an error code and narrow down where my issue is, but I decided to measure capacitors and fuses to insure everything was okay.
The PS5 turns on with a blue light and a beep for 1-2 seconds then turns off. I noticed a grey capacitor measures no voltage on standby or input power. Does this indicate a problem with the capacitor or something down on the line? I’m getting 3.3v on input with the red cap next to the grey one, and 5.2v on input with the red cap further away from the grey cap.
