    Sanyo DP42849-01 & IC5750A

I am working on the Sanyo DP42849-01 with the IC5750A problem as far as I can tell. My question is can you purchase the chip unprogrammed and program it with SW84? If so where would you obtain this software and what would you use to program it? The manual states "The IC 5750A you receive will have software 84 installed in it. If P42840-03 SW84 SW82 IC 5700's manufacture is Quimonda or TV is a 52" then the P42840-04 SW84 SW82 software will need to be changed with the use of a USB drive."
The unprogrammed IC is about $20.00 less than the programed IC and I am broke, cheap and I like to do it myself anyway.

You would have to have the BIN file and a separate programmer. The programmer is likely to cost about $20 so I would just buy the programmed chip.
