        Why do you want to measure the Voltages on UM801S? That is standby power supply section and it is working.

            See post 16 on where to find out if the PFC IC is getting the VCC Voltage to run or not.

              I measured the UP801S = FAN7530 with power board taked out, without conection to the lamps
              pin1 = 2V INV
              pin2 = 0V MOT
              pin3 = 0V COMP (but some votage showed 0.03V)
              pin4 = 0V CS
              pin5 = 0 ZCD
              pin6 = 0 GND
              pin7 = 0 OUT
              pin8 = 0.6V VCC

                Re: Samsung LA32B350F no backlight

                on the transistor QB801 = KTD1347 are the voltages so
                E = 0.7V this goes to pin8 which is VCC on UP801 = FAN7530
                B = 0.6V
                C = 19.2V
                the UP801S = FAN7530 does not get VCC on pin8 only 0.6V, then cant give out on pin7 0V which goes to mosfet QP802S = IPA60R600CP 6.1A 600V
                does it mean that the circuit with UB802 = KIA393 is not working?
                or bad transistor QB801 = KTD1347 ?
                or bad UP801 = FAN7530 ?

                  Summary for TL-DR readers:
                  • Backlight is intermittent, may come on with TV boot or not. No flickering, never fails during TV on.
                  • Have obtained Samsung schematic & service documents - Can upload if helpful.
                  • Have read ALL applicable threads
                  • C1818 and CP820 replaced as low hanging fruit
                  • CN802 data taken for normal and failed BL operation. SUMMARY: Pin 2 - 5vDet = 3.52 @normal, 0.0 @BL fail. Pin 6 - EPWM = 1.631 @normal, 1.058 @BL fail.

                  Samsung QE82Q70RAT no backlight
                  by sansanpartida
                  Hi everyone!

                  Hope you're all having a great day, and thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read this post to help me with my parents' Samsung TV.

                  My issue: No backlight.

                  Model: QE82Q70RAT
                  Type No: QE82Q70RAT

                  The TV was already serviced by Samsung once under warranty for the exact same issue, but six months after the fix, the backlight went out again. Now, Samsung is asking for nearly the same price as a brand new TV to fix this with the same 6-month guarantee.

                  So hopefully, I can fix this cheaper.

                  Samsung UN55NU7300F Curved TV. Half side backlight out. Fixed by just removing the rear snap cover
                  by howardc64
                  TV was fixed just after removing Samsung's rear snap cover.

                  This curved TV's construction is rather interesting. When the snapped on back is removed, rest of the TV will relax the curvature. Top of LCD panel is loose as it wants to straighten out against the slightly curved bezel. Snapped back provide most of the curvature shape. So just simple disassembly of rear cover will allow the rest of the TV frame to relax its curvature. Thats probably what fixed it but no idea which connection. 4x LEDs are edge lit.

                  Maybe PSU->backlight connector didn't have a good contact?...

                  Samsung QN75Q6FNA backlight no display, red LED blink 2x, fault in panel
                  by howardc64
                  • Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
                  • Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
                  • Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
                  • Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.
                  • Tape masking eventually isolated to CN1300 pin 15 (CKV4_GOA) Display
