Hi:
Before anything, thanks for all the help I could get with this. I have almost no previous experience with TVs, but I have some basic electronics knowledge. Some background with this TV: A cat did some "mischief" on the grid that covers the A board; I took it to a service center and they charged me around $200 for (and I'm pretty sure of this) basically clean the board, but the failure presented itself again three days after (I do not remember the number of blinks). So I decided to open it, take the board and sprayed (bathed) it with contact cleaner and compressed air; after this the TV worked perfectly... until this time.
Again, it seems another cat did its thing on the same place (we have many cats); I checked the zone but didn't see any "liquid" so I turned the TV on and it worked (it was late at night). Next day, after plugging it and trying to turn it on, the TV showed the one blink error. I did the same procedure as before (clean the board), but the error persisted. I searched about this, and came to two conclusions:
I managed to get a replacement (TNPH0988-1-A, very hard to come by, had to import it from USA (broken screen); I don't care about the digital tuner, DirecTV at home). Also the service manual is almost nonexistent for this specific model, I just managed to find the SM for the bigger sized model of the series (TC-P60GT50, uploaded for anybody who may need it; the most interesting things about it are the block diagrams, no troubleshooting info). What I need to know now is:
I also hope that the board suffix (check the images) doesn't kill my hopes of fixing this TV. Thanks again for your help.

- It's a nondescript error, and/or
- It's an A board failure.

What I need to know now is:
- How do I test that the other boards are OK? I checked them visually and there was no sign of "liquid" damage.
- The SM says something about regenerating a key that should be done when changing the A board, and also mentions something about Vsus calibration.
I also hope that the board suffix (check the images) doesn't kill my hopes of fixing this TV. Thanks again for your help.
