General question about main and power board part numbers and versions

    Hello,

For plasma and lcd, I'm getting a bit confused on some board replacements. This is mainly with mainboards , and some power boards. I notice that with brands like Samsung, there will be 2-3 different part numbers on the board, along with a version number in some cases (usually on the barcode label).

When you look on ebay, it seems some sellers will state a board is compatible with "others", but I'm not so sure. Do all part and version numbers generally need to match? If not, is there any resource I could check for the various OEM's? Thanks!

Go to shopjimmy website, it will tell you what numbers you will need to match what you have. They also provide the compatible info for the boards.
