    Samsung 46" Horizontal lines.

    Hi there,

    I am working on 46" Samsung smart TV. The TV is having Horizontal line all over the screen and shows weird colors as well. The color issue gets worse after 2 minutes turning the TV on. I have checked the voltages at the power-supply all looks normal. No visual damage. The voltages at the T-Con voltage regulaters looks normal as well.. any suggestions. photos attached.

      I'm quite sure this is a bad panel, simply search the T-con board number on here or through Google and that will give you your confirmation(I have had the same problem).

          Thanks Dang for quick reply. Which one is the T-con board number. Is it the one on the sticker or on the board.

                  I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
                  I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

                  never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.

                  I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.

                  Hello,

                  First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

                  I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

                  I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

                  I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

                  hi guy my friend gives me this tv a 50tu8070u that has no picture at all, sound ok, backlights ok. i tought it was a bad panel, but the tv has many horizzontal lines green, i tried with the tape method but nothing change, only the green lines disappear but still no picture. You that have more good than me, do you think it s a panel or can be the main board, because my friend wants buy a new main board....but the tv respond to the remote control, have sound only no picture so i think it s a panel problem that is so broken that i cant fix with tape...or i wrong if someone can help me thanks, i give...

                  I just acquired this 3D LED yesterday and it has horizontal lines on a little more than half of the screen. When I first turn it on it has thin black lines going across that makes the image look serrated, and then shortly after patterns of thicker red lines fade in. If I turn it off and right back on it will reset to just the black lines and the red will again fade onto the screen.

                  I initially thought tab bonds, but flexing the bezel makes no difference, and the fact the image sort of resets after cycling power is different. I haven't opened it up yet to actually test applying...
