    Panasonic TH50PZ85U dead HDMI's

Hello all, It's been a while since I have posted. I have a Panny TH50pz85u that works but the HDMI inputs will not recognize when a source is plugged into them (there are a total of 3). The tv turns on, displays the language/welcome screen I have access to everything, volume, menu, picture, sound etc etc.

I am going to guess there is an issue with the A board, but I wanted some expert input on this because my past experience was that an A board issue would shut the tv down and produce a blink code....not the case here.

    Thank you for any input!!

It is quite common with this model. A board is bad. Not all A board faults cause a blink code.

I found that many times a power surge knock out HDMI Ports.
This ties the grounds together between the different pieces of equipment. They are usually the first to go.. it takes the HDMI chips or the main processors

I have a dead HDMI port due to lightning on my 2010 TV, it runs normal with the dead port, no SOS triggered.
