Westinghouse SK32H570D Blue screen of death with a code

Hello all, Have an older Westinghouse, found and replaced a burnt out backlight inverter. Tv came right on, nice clear image. After about ten seconds the blue screen of death appeared as an 8" horizontal band across the middle of the screen with the code (?) "18G1W016 Factory". Tv comes on when plugged in without pressing the power button, none of the buttons have any effect.
A search of the web and westinghouse has provided zero info. Hoping someone here can give some insight.

has this got a internall dvd player? if it has unplug all power to the dvd drive and see if the tv starts ok ive read this on various forums via google seems a issue with the dvd drives.

Thanks, Unplugged both the power and data cables. No blue screen, but initially had issue that none of the control buttons except power button worked. Hot plugged the dvd power and buttons worked, then unplugged hot, buttons continued to work. Now a 72 hour test with a lot of button pushing.

if you can find the code for the factory menu, you can probably set it to not have a dvd drive.
