Well, it's a lot like eBay, as it's a marketplace, and your experience does depend on the particular seller. I would be wary of buyer protection from a site like that -- I would always use a second layer such as PayPal or a credit card that has a good charge-back policy. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: What are "www.Aliexpress.com" like, any bad experiences?
This question was asked in the last few days - got little response so not sure why you have asked again so soon after. There are plenty of comments on the internet and it seems just the same risk as buying from a chinese seller on ebay. Aliexpress are huge
but its only as good as the seller you buy from - also applies to some amazon purchases?
If its too cheap to be true think twice!
I have not used them but I have not seen anyone on here saying they are bad. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Thank you, not seen the post of recent times hence asking, and good advice to use Paypal. I may take the chance as trying to get this Hitachi buffer board more locally is proving almost impossible.Comment

I've used them once to buy parts for an SC board. They have almost every part you'll need. The only thing is that shipping takes forever! It took almost a month for the parts to arrive, but at least it was a good price.Comment

by rakonjaHello everyone! I am the owner of a Philips 42PFL7008k/12 TV! It served me well all the years. Sometimes it used to get "stuck", after which I used to disconnect it from the voltage, hold the power button on the device for about 30 seconds, and after turning it on again, it worked like new!Only once it threw something like no software! Now it happened that it won't turn on anymore, the red LED blinks twice!Do you have any suggestions? They are probably not cost effective to repair, but I am sorry to get rid of it, it has served me well and looks like new!The only downside is the slow...

by dcapperSo who's had bad experiences with tv repairs? I was given a nice LG 50" Smart TV with burnt out led's and I replaced them all. Put it back together and thought I had the screen in the right position. Clicked the case on and crack. Ugh. Garbage now.

by iteliteI am working on a Sharp lc-90le657u at a customer's home.
It would occasionally click the relay, turn on the backlight for a fraction of a second, turn off, click relay off. More often than not it will do nothing at all.
On the first trip i replace the power supply, on the second i replaced the main board. Today i spent about an hour testing various things.
Tested all LED + - wires. all exactly 196v with backlight tester, and could see each strip light up. With ameter in series the current was identical on every strip.
Primary side voltages... -
by caspianDear Forum Members,
There are many non-authorized sellers who sell spare mainboards for laptops. The question is how do they provide these mainboards?
It is possible that some of these mainboards were defective working mainboards that were set to be recycled in the factory, but they were sold as spare mainboards. It is also possible that some of these mainboards were defective working mainboards that were replaced by a new one so that the old one was sold as a spare mainboard.
Defective working means the mainboard still works but it has some minor problems. In the... -
