    LG 65UQ7570PUJ screen flickers

I turn the tv on and the screen flashes while its black with no sound or anything coming out of it. Acts like it is power cycling. Eventually the tv comes on after about 3-5 minutes of it doing that and works. Would this be a case of the panel going out, a board issues, or the backlights?

I think is more bad back lights.. to ensure this you must force backlights with no mainboard connected

Will the backlights turn on without the mainboard connection? Or do i have to jump it to turn on?

Disconnecting main board from PSU works on Samsungs but not all LGS.

But yes likely backlights. Get a led tester for 15$ off Amazon and test them. Backlight repair isn't super easy if you are impatient

Yes needs a jumper, post the image of the power board signals list near the output connector for the main board..

LG have LED BL protection circuit, if the issue at BL then was from start the protection take place.. but it sound its try to boot,, after 3-4Minutes started normal.
you need after it started normal , put the tV in Standby , then turn on again.. if it go straight on.. then the issue with Caps warming up. use yours hair dryer to warm up the PSU or MB to see which area the TV start direct when its cool .
