Will the backlights turn on without the mainboard connection? Or do i have to jump it to turn on? -
LG 65UQ7570PUJ screen flickers
I turn the tv on and the screen flashes while its black with no sound or anything coming out of it. Acts like it is power cycling. Eventually the tv comes on after about 3-5 minutes of it doing that and works. Sony XR-65X90J & Sony KD-55X80J Not Powering On
I have two separate tv's that are having the exact same symptoms. A Sony XR-65X90J and a Sony KD-55X80J. They both are not powering on at all and do not show any led light status. I am having issues with getting the backs off because both sets are the screwless type. Not sure if anybody has any ideas on if it is indeed a power supply issue or these types are known to have other issues.
Also, any ideas on how to get the sets backs off?

Ahhh I see.... the blue haze is from the bad backlights.

I have a LG 65 inch tv. When i turn it on it has a blue haze and slightly noticeable white vertical lines. I am wondering if this is the t-con or the panel tabs?

I disconnected the ribbon cable from the motherboard to the panel circuit tabs. When I did that I was able to hear sound come from the tv.Leave a comment:

I have a Samsung QN75Q60TAFXZA. It will power on for a second or turn and show the backlights and then reboot itself basically. When i unplug the ribbon cable from the panel tab board that runs into the mainboard, the backlights will stay on and just see the blackish screen.
Does this sound like the panel board tabs are the issue?

Sony KD-60X690E 6 blink error
I have a Sony KD-60X690E tv that has issues in going to a 6 blink red status light error. The tv will sometimes function and work for a couple of days to a week and then will go into the 6 blink error. Kinda stumped on what the issue could be.

I figured out it was the motherboard that was causing the issues. I could even use the menu functions when the tv would power on for the couple seconds that it would. Thanks for the input.Leave a comment:

They were not shutting off at all actually. They stayed on until i unplugged the tv from power. With the mainboard plugged into power it would turn on, show the input, and then shut off and then repeat itself.Leave a comment:

I have a Samsung UN46EH5300FXZA that is cycling on and off when powered on. When i unplug the mainboard from the power board and plug the power back in the backlights stay on for a longer period of time. I also check the connector between the powerboard and backlights and there is no sign of issues with arcing. -
Sony KDL-75W850C Issues
I have a Sony KDL-75W850C that when powered on it blinks the backlights and then turns off. After a couple seconds it will then go into the led blink mode and will blink 6 times. I took off the back and the power board clicks on when powered on and then clicks off after a couple of minutes. I have seen where this could be backlights but is there a possibility that the powerboard or main board could be bad?

Samsung UN60FH6003F backlight issue
So i have a samsung UN60FH6003F with backlight issues. When i first got the set the backlights would not come on at all but i could see a faint picture on screen. So i assumed and rightfully so ordered backlights from shopjimmy and replaced the set of backlights in the tv. I then tested the set and only part of the backlights come on. There is also a high pitched noise coming out of the tv when i plug it into power.
Could this be bad backlights from shopjimmy?

Sony KDL-70R550A has yellow vertical line in it
I have a sony kdl-70r550a that has a yellow vertical line in it on the right side of the screen. I am trying to determine if this is the panel tabs or if the t-con. T-con usual is not the issue if there are vertical or horizontal lines correct?
Attached are some pictures. You can see the right side has a discolored vertical line.

I have another tv that is a similar insignia and found that it was backlights and i could see a faint picture but this one doesn't turn on to be able to see the picture without the backlights. But it sounds like that is what it is because of it being a common issue.
