    samsung ln46a630m1fxza black moving lines..

Once again another tv i would like to fix but don't know what causing this problem.

I started a thread over avs forums which no buddy said anything.. which is this one http://www.avsforum.com/forum/166-lc...s-neonish.html I got pics on there.

So i kinda put up with the problem than 2 days straight as i said in that thread it was fine everything was working perfect.. than these black lines started to appear and they wiggle little bit, It also depends whats on the screen.

If I Leave it off for couple days cause i get tired of seeing those lines so i hook up my other hdtv to my pc, Than in about a week i try the tv again as my monitor,

And when i turn it on its like the brightness and contrast is on 100% Than it goes back to normal in like a hour, Than the lines will start to show in like between a hour minimum and around 5 to 10hours longest It varies.

Its like interface because colors are perfect and everything else works fine other than those lines.

I would buy a t-con board which is a common problem for these series of tvs for it, Which i can get one for 70$ which is worth it, But i want to be sure its that first.

Pretty much everything looks good when i looked over all the boards and power supply, But than again it can be a bad cap cause i seen on this forum a cap don't have to be bulging or look bad to be bad.

But im not sure if a bad cap will cause this problem..

    Heres some pics

Hopefully you can see the horizontal lines, They are a bit hard to see on camera than in real life.

Hopefully someone will know this issue sense i really like to use this screen full time on my computer. Has very nice colors.

you do understand that in order for somebody to reply you need to open it. right?
this a lcd tv so in most cases the parts are cheap as hell.
just open it and lets see what`s inside.
Just cook it! It's already broken.

There are three green boards (two of them have black heatsinks) and there are three grey cables, try re-seating them, and also tight up all the board mounting screws since some of them are used for grounding the circuits on the boards to the chassis ground,

Those moving black shadow lines look like the start of the gamma chip failure. That is what my 32" started doing then after about 3 months of that the Panel started to get washed out and ghosting images.

That's what it was for mine but might be different for this one. Once the AS-15f chip on the T-Con was replaced the Panel was back to new and looked better then ever.

That is the AUOPTO T-CON/LCD panel with AS15 IC.

Samsung plasma 50" TV, model PN50C540G3F, has black horizontal lines
                  by CyberNinja
First, the black horizontal lines even overlay the TV's menu. Does this behavior indicate that it's the plasma panel that's defective? If not for the black lines, the TV works just fine. I've cleaned the 6 connectors between the panel and the Y-buffer board, causing no change in the black lines. Visually, the 12 ICs on the Y-buffer look brand new (no holes, etc.). I put my fluke meter in continuity mode and tried to perform the "short" test on the 6 panel ports and found many shorts. But I don't think I'm doing the "short" test correctly and I'm hoping someone can provide guidance....

                  Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
                  by jeyoung12
                  Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
