Trying to find a datasheet for 2 smd's and the schematic for SMPS made by APEVIA
I am trying to find two smd datasheets for an Apevia 1000w prestige power supply ATX-PR1000W the SMD's are ST9S313 which is a SMPS supervisory chip and a EST 915HP or XP48024 not sure which or both is the chp prod number and the schematic -
Installing a Nvidia GPU in server 2019
well like the title says. I have a windows 2019 server and I am trying to install an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti.
I downloaded the exe from NVIDIA
used 7zip to extract the driver folder
go to device manager and try to update the grapics card, says something like generic windows graphics
the driver was a WHQL DRIVER
It did not work
oh yeah I tried win 8 and win 10 64 drivers
EDIT:: NEVER MIND, THE WINDOWS 10 DRIVER WORKED. i WROTE THIS WHILE REBOOTING AFTER INSTALLING WINDOWS UPDATES, THOUGHT I WOULD SAVE TIME.Last edited by LA1; 11-11-2023, 07:48 PM. -

the one item that everyone has taken onto on Laptops that apple started, was writing the model and serial numbers so small and in a slightly lighter color than the case color that even a 20 year old with 20/20 vision can't read... -

I have worked "IT" the last 30 years. a mix of everything, home small business network pc repair. Corporate "IT" . retired from Lockheed Martin 2 years ago. we had a handful of people requiring Mac. supposedly Apple/ Mac's only make up 13% of the world's population of computing power. I found them annoying and overly proprietary. Most of the Mac population was in the graphics dept of the company I worked at. iBuyPower series I model 301 case
I have a second hand iBuyPower case that has a small circuit board in it. It obviously drives and RGB or regular LED light strip. I figured out the light strip connection and the power connection. there is 1 last connection I cannot figure out and that is one that has 3 motherboard usb connectors on the ends that connects to the bottom left of the circuit board. see the pictures bellow.

My new Motherboard test stand
I made the test stand out of a neighbors discarded case that had no covers.
the pictures might be out of order. the weld does not look pretty kept burning through.

not sure anyway, that seems not what i am looking for. I have decided it's part of the onboard network card. I have a HP AIO 24-f0061, it's an i5. I got it for free , would like to repair it. it's getting a beep code for crowbar circuit failure. none of the fets are getting anything at their gates. the processor is getting warm though.

How to test a thyristor B422NC
this 3 terminal one has me baffled. between all the terminals on continuity test I get open loop(OL) On diode test I get between 1 and 3 i get 290 mV (.290) either way switching probes. Just noticed the part numbers are different, the part looks the same

i unsolder the FET from the board and it tested at around 175mV (.175) which i believe is in the realm of being good for a Schottky diode.it's a PNPLeave a comment:

would that be inside the package? all FETs have a Zener from the drain to the source
what i don't like about FB is you can't add your own hobby, it has to be one of their predefined hobbies. I do rail fanning ( train spotting ) among others that they do not have....Leave a comment:

I get OL open loop. as it should. it's from an HP AIO that it gets a beep code for the crow bar circuit.
I noticed you are from Canada, great country. about 40 years, closer to 50 now I went to Canada on a motorcycle from Maryland. had a great time. a lot of the people i talked to referred to the United States as the
'Lower 48" like we were all one big country. there were a few that sill harbored bad feelings about us burning your parliament building in the 1830's

testing a TPCA8A10-H
, it's a FET ,negative probe on source and positive on drain with the meter on diode test mode. i am getting 22 milli volts .022. I think it is a Schottky barrier . is this too low? do they have this info on the datasheet, would this be the forward voltage?Last edited by LA1; 10-18-2023, 01:28 PM. -

I had a D600 that did sort of the same . I bought it on auction on ebay. Turns out it had these little peice if spring steel soldered to the bottom for grounding, one broke loose and was laying on a trace on the bottom... you may want to check on ebay for the same make that works and has a broken display,,, or a used mainboard.Leave a comment:

I have the same monitor, when mine was new it use to buzz sometimes. I bought the monitor back in 2007. Now it will stay on for about 2 seconds, then I turn off/ on and on again for 2 seconds. This goes on for about 10 minutes till the monitoe gets warm, then it will stay on. What I found was 4 470uf 25v radial lead electrolytic caps puffed out. Not leaking yet. This wa on the power/inverter board...took a nice picture do not see any way to post the picture.
