Sony KDL-46Z4100 T-Con fuse and diode

I got two Sony KDL-46z4100, same problem: blank screen, then shut off gave 14 blinks.
This is the t-con problem, part number 1-877-777-11, I checked all the fuses, F603 was open for both t-cons. I replaced one of the t-con fuse, TV works for 2 hours and then shut off gave 14 blinks again.
I checked the replaced fuse, not open, the other fuses are fine, looks like something else burnt.

When I measured one of the diode (815B), surprised the resistance is not the same as others (There are 4 the same diodes near by). I thought this is the problem.

I did a research but still not find any datasheet or specs for this 815B diode (R825 marked under 815B).

A bad diode would blow the fuse almost immediately - certainly the TV wouldn't work well.
Make sure to use the correct rating time delay fuse.

I used the same specs fuse to replace, though this is not the smd type.
The bad diode is not totally shorted, but less resistenace then others. May be this is the IC problem ? I measured it on board.
Anyone have glue what the 815B diode is ?

It's an ONSEMI diode, looks like SMC or SOD123 package, with J-Leads, device code is B825 (top line is date code)
Couldn't find an exact match though sorry.

Hi, I have a sony 46z4100 with the same problem. It works a few hours and then cuts off. Did you ever find a solution? Thank you.

fuse f603 open ,i check chip 9853a pin 1 and pin 12,look like that chip bad.need to replace that chip first.

Just bought a T-Con to replace motion blur, it has F603 open. Did F603 and IC 9853a fix the T-Con?

AS ALWAYS, if one fault is time definte is also heat related, so you have to monitor with finger or thermocamera which component goes hot and after make cooling-warming cycles with freezer spray to isolate the culprit.

Looks like that diode is in parallel with resistor so would have to lift diode to test.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Sony 8K XBR-75Z8H White Screen Vertical Bars Tcon Code. Help Needed🙏
                      by Daren87
                      Hello everyone,

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

Replacing resistor fuse in Sony DV charger
                      by corrize
Hello, I have 2 old chargers for Sony DV, and I found the same resistor fuse dead. Fuse is a crossing component : 0,47 Ohms (0,125W deduced because the lenght is 3mm). But I can’t find the same for buy.
So, I want to replace by another like 0 Ohms, 1 Ohms 0,125W,

It is the same please ? I guess it’s the same, the only change should be the time to burn ? Thanks...

                      Sony KD-55X9000F TCON Issue
                      by thelankanguy
The TV shows a black screen with no image.
TCON ribbon connectors were disconnected individually for image and there was no half image even.
Later both ribbons were disconnected and TCON voltages were tested.
12V, 3.3V, 1.8V were seen present but VONE signal reads 0V.
There is also a short to ground in this circled inductor.
Is this a TCON issue or something else ?...

                      Sony KD-55AG9 TCON?
                      by bbrain
                      Hi,

I have this problem with my Sony 55' AG9.
                      It flashes 4x.
I have found the service manual, and seems it is the TCON.

Before I buy a TCON can someone check the vid?

                      Thanks in advance!...

Sony KD-65x8500b - bad Tcon or panel?
                      by rimwall
Hi, hoping for some views on this one which I've not come across before. The TV generates an image that has 12 noticeable bands across it. The image is still there and accurate, but the colour (or perhaps the brightness) changes gradually across each band which creates a noticeable 'step change' at the edge of each band. Given it's a 4K TV with 2160 rows of pixels, I'm guessing the 12 bands correspond to 12 gate drivers of 180 rows each. If this guess is right, then perhaps:
                      a) all the gate drivers are malfunctioning the same way (which seems unlikely), or
                      b) the Tcon board is malfunctioning,...
