The buffer boards and x, y boards may affect, but you can test it with a multimeter after pull off.
The power supply and main board have the major values. Other parts can be salvaged....

Re: Tcl 55r635
t-con may not a problem for this model TV. You can try to disconnect the right side of the panel board cable (brown color from the second photo), then power on tv to see if you can see anything on the screen.

Re: Internal speaker swap pz800 to g10
The PZ800 main board has 2 speaker connectors, one for large speakers one for twitters.
G10 has one speaker output connector. So you need 2 capacitors to isolate the 2 twitters.

Toshiba 50L420U/49L310U Flash Toshoba logo then no backlight
Toshiba 50L420U/49L310U TV, press power button, it shows Toshiba Logo then backlight off.
Tested the backlight stripes with backlight tester, all 3 sections seem to be good.
The problem is the power supply PK101W1100I , 2 backlight feedback resistors open in my case, the value mark 101, they are both 100 Ohm.
I replaced the 2 resistors with same value fixed the problem....

PN60F5300AF no picture with sound no cost fix.
Samsung plasma PN60F5300AF, TV power on but no picture with sound.
The big cap in the power supply voltage is 395v, the VS and VA was normal (208v and 55V) at time while turn on, but dropped to 0v after a while. This means the power supply is good.
Took off the y-sustain board and checked the transistors but non seemed to be bad, no fuse for this board. Checked the upper and lower buffer boards no shorted.
The Samsung plasma TV is infamous for bad caps in the x y board.
The problem is the capacitor C5162 (value marked 106) in the y board (LJ92-01958B,...

Sony KDL-50EX645 6 blinks simple fix
Not able to power on, 6 blinks.
Tested the backlight OK with backlight tester. The problem is the 4 series resistors R602A-D values increased. Looks like everyone is possible to change values.
I jumped the R602D (it's underneath the heatsink) with a wire (on the other side of the board) fixed the problem....

Re: Repair LG 60UF770V
You need to remove the white mental heatsink and you'll see an IC.
Rework means re-soldering that IC, but it's BGA IC so it's a bit harder and skillful. Please refer to youtube video for BGA soldering tips if you're not experienced.

Re: Repair LG 60UF770V
Try to rework the IC under the big white heatsink, the UF series has the same common issues, or replace the main board.

Re: LG 47LV5500-UA TV display problem
I would not recommend to bake it with oven, as this way will affect all components in the main board. Only the main processor BGA Soldering is the problem.
(In Ebay most of them are the repair service only, not a whole main board to sell. If you already baked it, the repair guys will not accept to repair your board any more !)

Re: LG 47LV5500-UA TV display problem
I fixed a LG 47LV5400, same issue. Just used hot air gun to reflow the main processor in the main board. Make sure to hot and time enough both bottom and upper (never touch the processor during this process).

Re: Samsung PN59D530 BN44-00445C Power Supply Transistor part#?
I found this thread, level #24, he did replace the QP805,QP806, but couldn't see the part # clearly.

Samsung PN59D530 BN44-00445C Power Supply Transistor part#?
This power supply is from Samsung PN59D530, the fuse T10A250V burnt, QP802,QP804, IC CP801,QP804,QP806 all shorted.
I can see the parts# except the QP805,QP806, this two smd small transistors only show BJD 2A and BJD 2E, not sure what they means, couldn't find the datasheets.
Anyone know what the real part# ?
Thanks...Last edited by Sevenqi; 05-31-2017, 01:04 AM.

Re: LG 42LV5400 powers on, no video, no sound
I had the same model and same problem, what I did was to reflow the main processor on the main board with heat gun, problem fixed.
