    i want to spend few words about the first attempt..
    Reflow is not an exact art, i'm working on a lcd tv with evenly spaced horizontal lines on video, i made a full reflow with flux and the right movement of the main chip on tcon.. now i have no more image!! You don't know how much nervous i am.. this is not the first one..
    the first was also a Philips with common problem at the processor balls, it was 70% of times working, after the reflow.. totally shut off!!! f... off...

            I'll double check, but I didn't see an Auto Update option. My gui looks completely different from that. I went to Settings -> Device Preferences -> About and did not see it there, nor was it under System Update.. That goes directly to checking for updates. I disconnected from WiFi after the notification popped up, so I think for now as long as it's not connected it will be okay.. Do you know of any hidden settings menus that might contain the option?

                impossible .. at user menu there should be automatic update on / off..

                    Okay I'll check when I get home. So IF there is an option, should I factory reset it again to clear the pending update? Or would that result in it applying the update?

                        yes you can factory reset first with out internet connection

                            I am working on an ASUS ROG G513QY laptop with RX 6800M dGPU.
                            Originally, this laptop was completely non-functional. I replaced the motherboard (part number 6050A3254002-MB-Axx), and with the replacement board it started working fine.

                            For a long time, the dGPU worked perfectly stable. I played several hundred hours on very demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077 without any crashes, instability, or detection issues. Performance was excellent and there were no warning signs of failure.

                            I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it.                             Hi,

                            I'm still having a problem with my philips 46FPL8605 TV.

                            It works correctly most of the time, but sometime, the screen goes black, the ambilight led do some scrap, then after some seconds the audio shutdown and the TV restart.

                            After that, my freebox pop says me that the HDMI has been disconnected.


                            This is not a temperature problem, sometimes, it appears just after startup, sometime after 1 hour. Sometimes it reboots 1 ou twice in 4 hours, sometimes it's 4 time in less than than 1hour...

                            hello i bought a faulty radeon r9 290 (black screen) to learn to fix gpu's, when it arrived i mesured resistances on 3.3 v and 12v both on the pcie connector and cables i have no idea on how to recognize 1.8v pex and 5v but i checked all inductors and none had a dead short only one was 55 or 140 ohms i don't really remember and i assumed it was memory i installed it on the pc and it delivered no image, not even a backlight so i installed it as a secondary graphics card using the igpu as primary, both device manager and gpu-z only showed the igpu so i assumed it was acutally a no detect even tough...

                            The same 32" Philips TV I was having video issues, but now I don't have standby led at all. Someone here shared with me the schematic of the power supply, and checking the voltages, I see right after the resistor R604 I'm getting 1.6 v which is too low for enabling the Gate of the Q601 mosfet (the diagram says 4.2). On the R614 resistor I'm getting 181 V in and 117 V out, then through R603 I'm getting the same 117 V in and 59.9 V out, finally getting the latter voltage in the R604 BUT getting just 1.6 V out, which is the voltage that goes on to the Gate of the Q601...
