That's what I'm leaning toward. Haven't heard back from the seller since I told him this board had heat damage. There were not pictures of the bottom in his listing. Think I now know why 🙄

Edit: I sent the picture of the heat damage to the seller and this was the reply:

To be honest, that does not look good at all. I had 3 of these from a walmart return pallet I bought of new sets with broken screens. I unboxed them my self. But anything is possible. I will ship the power supply out as soon as the USPS opens back up tomorrow but I do not think it will help.
If it does not just let me know and I will take care of it.
I did call P&F tech today and he told me that it would/did not cross. But with the same panel and tcon I thought it should work. I could have a different software version though.

You want me to check voltages with what I currently have, correct? My power supply and the "new" main board?

yes... most important the pin name as you have on the PSU print chart

There isn't a Pinout chart on either side of the board that I've seen or recognized...

Yea there is no chart anywhere on either side calling out the pins for that connector. Likewise I cannot find a schematic on Google. The seller is shipping the power supply today, so I should have it within a couple days.

Just ground to chassis and touch red probe anywhere on jumper?

                            Here ya go:

                            J614 RESET - 3.31V
                            J615 ALL +3.3V - 3.31V
                            J609 AMP +13V - 14.38V
                            J616 P-ON-H2 - 3.28V
                            JS652 P-ON +21V for UHD - 19.8V
                            J605 BL-SW - 172mV
                            J603 01013-C - 0.00mV
                            J606 BL-ADJ - 155.1mV

I did not check J610 GND because I thought that might be a bad idea 😬

The seller shipped the power supply and I should get it by Friday. Do you think though that it's a main board issue not telling the power supply to turn on? If it is the main board that's the issue then trying the new power supply would be pointless. Power supplies doing have firmware so I really do doubt that it's a compatibility issue..

I do believe he has a couple more main boards as he said he bought 3 of these TVs at once.

I received the power supply yesterday. Absolutely no change. Has to be a faulty main board. I contacted the seller again and he refunded my money and told me to keep both boards. I found another board and ordered it already. It should arrive next week, so I'll be back when it shows up.

I considered reflowing it, and I might try that tonight just for fun. The burn on the back is what I'm more concerned about. It got HOT and therefore may be damaged, or the solders might not melt right. Even if it works I'll be sticking with the new one because who knows how long this would last. It is, for the sake of diagnostics and knowing what actually was wrong, worth trying though. My new board should arrive Monday according to FedEx.

Got the new board today, and in fact, they sent me the whole kit with power supply, tcon, and ribbons/wires! I couldn't use the tcon because the ribbons to the panel were slightly smaller, so I left mine installed.

                                          And... IT'S ALIVE!

It's updating now, which I'm sure is to the latest Android version... But it's not a Hynix chip so I think I'll be fine.

Edit: it updated to Android 9 and it's up and running now, but it wants to update to 11... I don't see an option to disable automatic updates 😬 I'm still leery about it updating as 11 caused issues for so many people.
