Philips 32PFL3505D/F7 Logo Flashes on and off

    Hello.

I picked up a Philips 32PFL3505D/F7. When powered on, the PHILIPS logo flashed on and then off and the power LED also comes on and off at the same time. I checked all diodes on both boards with incorrect readings. CAPS look cosmetically ok, although will need to do measurements, etc. I am wondering if anyone has encountered this issue on a this model or a similiar model.

    Thanks!

Hello. Following up on my problem. So checking through the main power supply section, I came across a resistor coded (red, orange,Silver,God) which is a .36ohm resistor. I am having trouble getting a reading across it. When I put my ohmeter in continuity test mode, it beeps with a short. Is that because it is such a low resistance or is it in fact shorted?

Is it a through-hole resistor? If so, I'd de-solder one of the leads to get an accurate reading.

I have yet to see a resistor fail shorted, they always seem to go open or higher in resistance, most ohm meters do not have the resolution to measure that low of a resistance accurately. If you happen to have the blue esr meter it does the job nicely.
Not saying that yours is the same but the last 4 phillps tv I have worked on all had issues on the main boards- 3 out of 4 in the dc-dc converter section, 1 was the cpu.

" I came across a resistor coded (red, orange,Silver,God)" Not sure if you have the orange color correct or not, if that is what you are seeing, then it is 0.23 Ohms resistor (more likely to be 0.22 Ohms), the meter reading will show higher resistance due to your probe resistance. So you should lift one end off the board and then test the resistance again.

I actually removed the entire resistor becuase I was getting a short across it when in circuit. I then removed it and if I put my meter on continuity test (Fuse test with buzzer), it shows a short. I then tested the circuit where the fuse was and it no longer was showing a short leading to the fuse as shorted. I was also getting a low reading across the diode next to it. I was reading .178 in both directions across the diode. I then removed it and it then tested infinite one direction and .478 the other so it was good. I am trying to determine the cause of the Philips LOGO appearing on the screen when power is applied and then it shuts down.

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.

It does power up when pressing the power button.

I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.

Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ?

philips 55pfl5907/f7 flashes and goes black
              by diazald
Hi Guys I have a philips 55pfl5907/f7 Backlight flashes and then goes black Protection Mode I assume. This set has a LED Driver board and is Edge lit (Only 2 light strips). I put my LED checker on the connection and get 103v on 7 of the segments and 112v on the 8th segment. Obviously theres an LED out on that segment but still lights up.

Could such a small voltage difference cause the set to go into 'protection Mode'?

              Thanks in advance

Philips TV 40PFL3148H/12 keeps restarting on the logo
              by alfonzzo
              Hello,

My Philips TV 40PFL3148H/12 keeps restarting as soon as the Philips logo is displayed, as soon as I plug it. The remote doesnt have any effect on it anymore, plus no red light on the tv panel as usual.

After contacting their support, they sent me a file to update the firmware from usb but without success (8gb 2.0 drive formatted in fat32).
Then they told me that it was a hardware problem.

Here is a video of the problem : https://streamable.com/8ixf1u

              Thanks for your help...

LG LED (LCD) TV 50LN5600-UI flashes logo, red LED 3x blink
              by jojo88
This 50 inch LG LED (LCD) TV was given to me not working. Powering it on, the logo flashes once for 1/4 second then black. Front panel red LED blinks 3x (I think... see below) then the LED turns off. TV stays on until I press the Power button again. There is an image on the LCD panel--I press the "Settings" button on the TV and this brings up menus I can see with a flashlight / torch.

(The front panel red error code LED blink sequence is a bit confusing to me. The LED is on when the TV is off. I press the Power button and the LED *very briefly* goes off--maybe 1/10 second--then...

              by Verlengsnoer
              Hi all,

at firs, i hope this is the right place to post my question.

Im looking for a tool to change the bios logo.

everyone knows when you turn on your laptop/pc you will see the manufacturer logo like lenovo, hp, dell...

i know that HP has a build in option to change the splash logo.

but i want to change the manufacturer logo to an own logo.

I try'd Change Logo 5.0, but when i make a backup of an laptop and edit the logo and flash the editted version back on the laptop the logo diddnt change.
