      They are TNPA5336 AM (TXNSD1PHUU)
      TNPA5337 AB (TXNSU1MNUX)

both out of stock at shopjimmy.com and partsstop.com

      any other suggested sources?

I reckon you'd get away with the GT30 buffer as from what I can see have the same components with the addition of heatsinks.

        For the SU, TNPA5336AG, TXNSU1PCUU

For the SD, TNPA5337 no suffix, TXNSD1NWUU

both in stock, but only just. Otherwise try your luck with Ebay.

I think you have your part numbers mixed up as the 5337 is the SD, not the SU number you've listed next to it.

When searching, drop the suffixes, also search the full part numbers too, but I think the GT30 may be the only option, very scarce.

I finally found a SD board at a reasonable price. Still looking for a SU board.

Is there any risk in installing the SD board to see if that fixes it?

Re: Panasonic TC-P50S30 Plasma replaced SC Board

So, I recently got a TC-P50S30 from a guy. He was throwing it out, stating it had the 7 LED flash issue that would require $350 in circuit boards to be replaced. I spoke with my Electronics teacher at college, and he and I both agree that replacing all the boards would likely be overkill as it isn't normal for an entire board to go bad as much as it is likely a few issues or just a singular component on the board(s) Has ANYONE figured out which component on the SC, SD, and/ or SU boards is causing the 7 LED Flashes of Death and if so, what are they, which board are they on, and where are they located so that the owners of these televisions can stop paying "part swappers" calling themselves "electronics technicians" $300-$600 to fix TV's that retailed for $800 just 3 years ago.

Re: Panasonic TC-P50S30 Plasma replaced SC Board

The SC is similar in design to the 42" as I recall, and there's up to 20 odd components that can fail on it

These are some of 'em for you to test.--

                Q401, Q402 Q421, Q621, Q622 IC502, Q531, D421, R401, R402, R422, R531, plus the two DG502?--or their equivalents in the ERC circuit...

Be aware, a Faulty SD or SU board buffer-chip can kill a perfectly good SC board.....

These sets really ARE made to fail. 3 years is about the lifetime the makers want--so that's what yer get!

Have you been able to fully diagnose the problem? I have the same initial problem with the white spot on the screen after replacing the upper buffer board. I initially had the 7 blink code.

Re: Panasonic TC-P50S30 Plasma replaced SC Board

I had the 7 blink problem and replaced the SU board with one i took off from a TC-P50ST30 ( 3d model ). The only difference was the suffix that was 5336AB. It powered up but i get the image that was first post by turboaudi80. So i have a dark screen and i can hardly see the menu window and i have this big white spot at the right side of the screen.
I have isolated the SU and SD board from the SC board and no ore blinking. So i guess my problem remains at the buffer boards and the suffix thing... What do you guys think?

How hard is it to replace ic buffer chip and is there any tricks to make removal more easy.Problem I am running into is the glue it has hard to remove from pins and has some under chip.

Yep, that's what I found and at least someone has tried and tore the tracks. Not sure how many have tried the Panasonic buffers, usually they are obtainable easy enough.

                        maybe try acetone ?

Here is my attempt used a small screw driver. Will use a dental pick on the rest of the chips since the board is ruined.some pads came off but they appear not to be connected.
