Very limited copyright enforcement in China, too much corruption. That business employs people from the city I'm mayor of/judge of/have friends of? That company is paying me? Dismiss the lawsuit. etc.

        Re: evesham v32eccb no power

Did anyone ever find a schematic or a parts list? I'm working on one that has an open D9. It's a surface mount diode near IC 5. The body style looks more like a resistor than a diode, totally flat but has the white cathode stripe on it. Not sure if it's a regular diode, shottky, or a zener.

This is old thread, please attach good clear high res straight shots pictures of the whole top and bottom side of your board, and closed up pictures around the part in question.

            Re: evesham v32eccb no power

Does anyone have a schematic, BOM, parts list, etc. for these? I work at a casino and we use these on a Tatung 32" monitor in a Bally machine. There are some unidentified surface mount diodes used in locations D2, D3, D9, and other locations that are bad. I combined the diodes from both boards to have all good ones on one board, replaced MosFets Q2, Q3, U5 controller IC. No other obviously bad/shorted parts but it keeps blowing the Mosfets and U5 as soon as it is powered up. Also U5 was hard to get off of the board with a large amount of glue under it and it tore the board slightly. All traces appear to be intact but I want to verify on a schematic that every connection is where it needs to be. These are EOL, no longer available, so I'm trying to salvage these to keep our games running. Any info would be most appreciated! Thanks

Casino gambling IS the problem, will NOT help perpetuate it in any way. Sure it's a choice but it's also psychologically addictive. That's why so many old people forgo their medication to spend their social security check at a casino and why so many young people are homeless because they spent their rent money AND all the other disgusting problems it causes. If I were elected king of the world, casinos would be the first to be GONE FOREVER.

                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
                by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

ASRock B650M PRO RS - BIOS CHIP 25Q256JW BLOCKED BY STATUS REGISTERS
                by DynaxSC
                Hi

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
                by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
