Thank You in advance for any help or advice. The title explains it all. I'm tv illiterate... Which is ironic because you don't read TV!

Re: Vizio E390i-A1 (Blank screen, sound works, backlight works)
Post the pictures of the back side of the TV. The problem can be blown fuse on the T-CON board or the T-CON is not getting the voltage from the main board.Never stop learning

Re: Vizio E390i-A1 (Blank screen, sound works, backlight works)
I had the same problem on my Vizio VW32LHDTV10A
Problem lies on the main board, specifically the voltage regulators used by the manufacturer (U8 for example), these are notoriously bad parts and go on the fritz and do not allow the proper amount of voltage to flow correctly. Sound will work as well as the backlight but ultimately there is no picture. I had this problem intermittently for 6 months. I did everything I could and did not want to spend the $50 to replace the board. I even replaced capacitors galore. No luck until i started looking at the voltage regulators. Re soldered most of them and voila problem disappeared. Its been about 3 weeks now and so far so good.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by ex250Hello mates,
I bought this subwoofer a few days ago used and blind and it works erratically, as far as I could see, it has been tampered with, the speaker is not the original one and of 8 Ohm when it should be of 4, and there are some welds like reworked by the boards.
It doesn't have much power (expected more from it) and it distorts if you increase the volume over the middle, maybe it's because of the high impedance of the speaker. The problem is that it has sound when it wants, the led panels all work correctly, you can hear the power relay on power on, but right now...-

by pdsternsGood Morning TV'ers
Vizio usually starts and works fine for a few minutes then goes blank. Checking voltages when shutdown it reads 5v on the standby pins on the PS and 12v on the 12v pina, backlights are out now. What can I conclude or where to next.
Thanks in advance

I've got a Hanns.G Hi221 Monitor that works for a moment and then the display goes off but the power LED indicator remains on. If you power it off and back on again it does the same thing, it comes on and then the display goes blank. From a cold start it takes 10 seconds or so before the display goes blank but if you turn it off and then back on again after it already being on it goes blank a lot quicker so I'm assuming something is getting hot which is causing the display to go off.
I've uploaded a video of it happening on YouTube:
I've taken the monitor...-

by mecha1166KDL-60EX500. Comes on fine, sound is fine, backlights come on. Blank screen. Already tried reset POWER/VOL-. Anyone else have this problem? Possibly bad T-Con RUNTK4244ZZ or panel? Could main or power supply cause this? There were 2 blown 560u 35v on power going to backlights but they were still working fine. Thanks for your help.
