I'd say a good chance of a loose connector for that part of the panel, doesn't look like a bad panel to me. Also make sure ribbons from control board are seated into the boards correctly.

If the fuse blew there's a chance the panel is bad, but it's quite rare for one to fail like that.

You've gone from losing both green and blue to losing only blue for that part; in my opinion, that's progress. Whatever you did, try doing it again. Check ALL connectors on BOTH ends of the control board and buffer boards.

Make SURE you install the heatsink for the X-buffer if you run the TV for longer than about 30 seconds.

What is the rating of the original fuse?

tom what are the heat sinks your talking about? i dont see any on the boards. is it the metal plate you have to take off to get to them ?

Yes, the metal plate is the heatsink. It absolutely MUST be installed or failure of the panel is likely.
This should work as a replacement:

well that didnt last for long. i left it on about an hour. and know i have a purple line in the same area . im really nervous about reheating it again. i guess i have nothing to lose. what do you think . is it the heat flow of the board or something else.
so i turned t off about 20 minutes turned it back on and know the purple line is gone.. im loosing it..

is it possible that i dont have the fuse. will this make a difference ?. HHHmmm; maybe ill wait to get the fuse before i make things worse.

What part are you reflowing? If it isn't the ribbon portion some flux added to the joints may give you a better reflow

i flowed the left side lower buffer the side where the line is located.im assuming that each buffer controls the side it is on . am i right ? ill have to go to RS to get some flux. im just really nervous to melt he plastic connectors. i wish i new where exactly to heat so i dont have to heat the whole board..

UPDATE; so i figured i has nothing to loose. so what i did was, so to not heat the ribbons and tabs, i left the heat sink on. to protect these part. and i was bold enough to heat each set of chips for 30 seconds each. at a low setting on heat gun. and so far so good. the set has been working about 2 hrs. i think i got it. call it lucky . i figured i had nothing to loose . so after 2 week and 150 bucks give or take. and the most important thing .knowledge.. thank guys

Once you have the basics down broken TVs seem to appear everywhere. I fixed my first LCD about 8 years ago now I fix several each month. Don't get too discouraged if it fails again there's always another TV to be found. I hope your repair holds for many years, I just gave away the first TV I fixed to my mother In law and its still going strong.

                                            Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

Dell Latitude 3510 Overheating & Fan Control Issue – Need Help
                                            by Ven
Dell Latitude 3510 (Intel Core i7-10510U) CPU Overheating

                                            Issue Description:
                                            1. CPU Overheating to 100°C
                                              • When I start the laptop from a cold state, it takes about a minute to reach temps around 80-90-100°C, and CPU thermal throttling triggers.
                                              • When the CPU fan is running at full speed (by disconnecting PWM and TACH cables), CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C.
                                              • However, when the fan is connected normally to the motherboard, it does not kick in at high temperatures.
                                              • I also noticed a few times that the fan kicked in for a very short time, but it does not stay on consistently.

Vizio TV M50-C1 reboot cycle and static on screen
                                            by spice_disc
I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...

How to fine control a brushless dc motor
                                            by delir66
Hi, I'm building a pottery wheel for my wife.

Since it needs to reverse direction and have a nice control over rpm, I decided to pick a diy electric scooter motor.

It operates at 48v and comes with a controller.

It has three wires for speed control
                                            -5v
                                            -gnd
                                            -signal.

The problem is that if I use a 100k pot, motor starts spinning when 1.4v and will get to max revolutions at 3.4v. With this 2v range, the potentiometer is not really ideal, as it will change suddenly rpm with the slighlest touch.
                                            I need something...

My turn to post a build I guess, wasted way too much time on this one…
