    can anybody help me understand how to read a diode?

    I have never learned this and need to know a good place to order diodes? diode says 867-15 7n... what does this stuff mean and what should the diode read on meter? I need to learn how to read the codes?

      #6 Bad diode. Best to test them out of circuit (desolder at least one leg, or smd remove from board).

        "867-15 7n..." Is that printed on the body of the Diode? Full numbers?

            Perhaps you aren't reading it correctly and it is a 1n867 diode.
