    LED backlights voltage drop

This is interesting numbers from the service manual.
    6.36V Drop PER LED, 19 LEDs x 6.36 = 120V.

I wonder what kind of LEDs are being used, may be TWO LEDs inside one body?

    Re: LED backlights voltage drop

I had some post on a Samsung LED set about some LEDs. I can't think if the name now, I am responding from my phone. That company made dual LEDs but the four j pins that solder it in were not the correct pin assignment to be serially linked. It may take some digging to get the correct voltage/current/pin assignment.

      Re: LED backlights voltage drop

I've seen some [relatively] high power LEDs that operate at or around that voltage.

A quick look online suggests that there are such things as dual white LEDs:
The Cree X-Lamp ML-C series are basically two LEDs in one package, and they can be wired if series or parallel.

MOSFET maintains voltage drop across G and S only for 3 seconds

        Hello,

While trying to fix an SMPS, I hear a ticking sound.
I've checked all capacitors, but none seem to be shorted.

I then suspected an issue with the flyback transformer which has 3 leads on the primary (used in a push-pull configuration ?) and one of them, which is always connected to GND has a resistance reading in the order of Mega ohms with any of the other 2 leads on the primary.

But I thought let's check the MOSFETs first::

The circuit also contains a PFC circuit, controlled by a UCC3818D (D stands for the SMD version),...

        Hi,
Have a Macbook A2179 with liquid damage. Customer showed it some shop which has done an ultrasonic cleaning of the board.
The board pulls 0V but doesnt turn on. No Fan SPIN. NOT IN DFU.

I checked the Power Sequences below and found this -

Once a valid external power source (Charger or battery) is connected, the following rails will come online.
PPBUS_G3H: Normal voltage is ~12.6v on the charger with the battery disconnected. Produced from the ISL9240 (U7000, which uses PPDCIN_G3H as its VIN.
PP3v3_G3H_RTC: Normal voltage is ~3.3v. Produced...

Plug in and backlights with Smart Tv powered by Tizen logo shows on screen
then nothing, no stby led or response to remote, no sound from hdmi input.

        This has only 1 board, a 3in1_kant_su2.

Try a usb stick with update firmware from Samsung and usb stick just flashes a couple of times, recognises usb, but thats it.

Remove ribbon to panel, same results.

I believe the leds are in an array of 3 x 12 @3v/led, going by what led sets are being sold for this tv on ebay and aliexpress.

Panasonic TH-L42D25A checking the PSU output voltage
        by electron_jj
Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum. I have a Panasonic LED TV which doesnt turn on and is blinking 4 times repeatedly when I turn on the switch. The TV does not respond to the remote control so I had to turn on using the physical switch on the side of the TV. When I turn on the switch the 4 x blinking starts and repeat itself until I turn off the TV. There is a black screen. I turned off the light in the room to check the panel and I think there is no backlight as far as I can tell.

I have been inspecting and testing the capacitors and diodes in the power supply board to try to...
