Yes i know , i fixed various tv with this,.but Samsung equipped with weltrend are the past now..
i was serious, i kept mine only for weltrend chips plus or minus, now i will sell it..
(nobody will buy it, ifix devices are plus or minus abandoned)

no, when i write my concern then i feel in reset. ... TV are for over 8 years way of hackers and used for many criminal acts via Chinese and Russian / N -S Korea..most are USA
effected are Samsung Hisense / Philips TVs ... the act start by sending script uncompleted upgrade or upgrade too by using VPN switch for target brand IP. if its goes well then OK if not SPI give up and delete first sector of response , here come second game people do help other to recover .. if they know or not i cant say... but the trick always work..

some hisense Tv each day at 5 am connecting to china.... Samsung U series always have contact to their external agent.. my last words always let the smart TV dummy always

i was meaning the things that distincted that series of peogrammers are no more producted, especially the tv brand specified tools.. tl866ii+ is now more powerful than rt809f and costs less, i have both, but also T48 is more powerful an much much less cost than RT809H if i recall,

to the OP: Common Interface is less or no more used, was for terrestrial digital pay tv, access card, now pay tv prefers to develop on smart tv channels
