Well, I don't know, it's up to you to decide, the main thing is that the drivers for the programmer are installed and the program for micom firmware is launched.

okay so i got everything running, checked my wiring, but it says it failed writing everytime. I am trying to flash the bin provided earlier in the thread.

Well, he identified it, can we read its firmware?

I tried that aswell, same issue.
I have installed all the drivers that were in the provided software. What can i use to debug the problem? The event log isn't very useful.

Should i have the board be plugged in only into the programmer?

Yes, on four wires, try lowering the frequency, reducing the resistor to 600-800 Ohm

as i said its interest experiment, so i do share what could help...
CH314 cant responded to changing bautrate as the Scn confirm the terminal SW. this why we need to use another adapter TTL to RS232 Serial Port Digital Converter / we set the CH314 as the driver... then when Soc asking to change bautrate... the RS adapter will response for the change not the CH314 so no error come... but in this case we need to use 3.3V level and power up the Tv during write

Okay so i lowered the resistor to ~660ohm, and it read fine, I'll try flashing.

It flashed fine, but when i read the contents, they looked okay. Should i try to desolder everything and try to power it?

Upon further inspection, what i read back had a lot of things replaced by FF.
Messing around some more i got it to write correctly.

There is a button to check the contents, as recorded with the original dump.

Yes, if you passed verification, then unsolder the wires and install it on the TV and check.

So it turned out the way I described from the very beginning, what happened (MICOM UPDATE) and how to get the TV out of the brick state...
