Vizio L32 green & amber that's it.

Vizio L32 I have the amber standby light and pushing power button gives me the green light but that's it no picture, sound or anything. inspecting the power board I see no bulged caps or anything burnt looking. Not sure what the voltages are to be as they are not marked on the board next to the plug like most. Not sure where to start on this one.

The two white connectors on the left side of the power supply board have Voltage and labeling on them, post the pictures of those two connectors. What is the full model number of the TV?

What DC V do you get at the REMOTE (PS_ON) pin when TV is OFF and when power switch is activated? Chassis ground will be your your ground ref. point.
Also post the pictures of the whole back side of the TV so we can see how the boards are connected together.

What pin is PS_ON? I see the remote connector but no PS_ON.

PS_ON is same as REMOTE on this PSU.

Got it! ok off is 0 and on is 2.2v

So main board is turning on PSU. What do the 5V,12V and 24V of the PSU do then? Do they become active?

Like I stated not sure where those are but on the same connector as "remote" B has 2.97v A has 1.16 both for V1 have 5.13v and both for V2 have 12.v

OK, so the REMOTE (PS_ON) is OK, so find out if the PFC Voltage booster is working or not by measuring the DC Voltage RIGHT AT THE TWO PINS OF THE MAIN FILTER CAP (450VDC Black cap laying on its side). It should have around 370~400VDC when power switch is activated. Do not touch anything with your hands
CN2 is the output connector that feeds the 24V (V3), DIM, and bl_on signals to the inverter board.
This is what I believe you have on your board.

So no 24VDC on V3 at all?
Good CLEAR pictures of the bottom side of the power supply board is needed, also still need the back side of the TV as requested.

OK, I need closed up pictures of the 24v section (bottom side), I will have to trace out the circuit to see how they are connected, also need the P/N of those two SMD ICs.
Also closed up on the top side of the 24V section.

ok the smaller chip looks like L65610 and under it is EZ516 then the longer chip has on it L6598D and under is 992448 I also looked at the other chips and the rest have on them S66841SZ and under is KZA033705160 I did a scan of the bottom I hope it's better.

IC spec for L6598 SMPS. I did not have to time to trace out the board yet.

OK, check the value of the three lytics cap for value and the ESR.
Check the value of the Poly cap (grey cap).

The 3 caps tested with my esr70 all show low esr but say leaky now those same caps with a MM show within the 10% (out of circuit)

Might have something, the poly cap shows OL and my ESR70 doesn't pick it up.
