Did the sound work before?
How about the top row readings of pin 5 & 6, 7 & 8. You also need to tell us if it is 1.75 Ohms, or 1.75K Ohm.
That number 1 reading may be due to too much flux on the pins, you may have to apply soldering iron to the pins to clear out the flux and take the reading again.

on the 2k setting it says 1.753 and when you say the top of the pins what exactly do you mean?

Also after applying solder as stated it reads the same.

Well there are numbers printed next to the pins of the transformers, top row of the transformer on the top left corner is pin 8. Bottom row, left corner bottom is pin 1.

OK, here is the pin out of the transformer. It has dual high voltage windings.

crap my picture is incorrect.
That is the readings from 5 and 8
pins 1 and 4 show a direct connection as in my meter starts beeping when tested.

ok all pin outs read .85k to .88k except for the first one.
It reads 270.0 to 272.0k on s1 & s2

You do have bad transformer.
Per spec:
Description This new replacement transformer is made by MoniServ. It is compatible with part number starts with 4005DXXXX. The secondary resistance is about 830 ohm between S1 and S2 (or S3 and S4). The primary resistance is about 0.6 ohm between P1 and P2 (orP3 and P4). It is compatible with transformers on 4H.V1448.241 inverter.

This is the commonly fail transformer (DARFON!).

You will be better off buying the new board, and keep the old board for spare parts. You already has one transformer went out already, you can expect more to go bad.

Yes, may be the speakers are turned off in the user setup menu.

They are all used parts, you are not going to find brand new board.

Quicl question on this one here.
If I remove that bad transformer from the board do you think the TV will turn on just with out the one light on or will the Tv still see an issue and not let it turn on.

The inverter circuits will go into protection shutdown, but you can try, it also depends on the design of the protection circuit.
