LVDS fully seated? check both ends.
Happens on only one/a few sources or all sources?
    Does it affect menu/volume control?
    PSU 12V & 5V are OK?

Strange my friend told me the the avi and hdmi gave the red lines but the pc lead was fine

      12V is 11.7
      5V is 4.8
But just removed the cover and running it and all inputs are fine no more red lines ?

A friend of mine also happens to have all the boards from this set. Funny story, we fixed that for him but a month later he decided he wanted to upgrade so he dropped it off the cabinet, smashed it and claimed on his house insurance.

I'm sure it doesn't work out in the long run, some people are really stupid. At least it was free.

It was most definitely a deliberate act, makes me kind of sad, might only be a shitty Vestel but still a waste.

You have a PFC fault...I've had two like this and never fixed them. I'm sure it is fixable I just haven't invested the time.

try replacing your filter cap, they can cause drops in output voltages aswell,if the pfc circuit is underpowering
