Sorry I don't have any real suggestions because I can't explain those results at all.
I suppose it could be one of those other ICs, but right now you are looking at maybe 4 ICs bad...
That just doesn't happen, unless the panel is cracked or something else is badly wrong?

got new buffers today now beffor i fit them is it safe to fit or will thay blow again all readings r fine with both buffers out ?

You would need a scope to be certain. If Vsc is OK it should be fine but I've never done one of these, mostly work on Panasonic...

i fitted new buffers and got only half picture but they tested fine ? do you think that means fault on ysus ?

Ysud can't cause that.
Any connector between the two boards? If so make sure it's seated properly.

ok will fit them again it was 3 1/4 of the screen had good picture the rest was black

ok took them out and put back in now i have sound no pic but buffers still test fine

Maybe post a good picture of the ysus and buffers installed as it is right now. Also might be worth checking none of the connectors or solder joints have fractured with all removal and installation of these buffers on both the buffer and ysus sides.

i have had one guy who broke a track on the ysus on a PQ30, it's a lot shot but everytime you touch it it seems you get a different result?

ok some pics still cant get a picture just sound how would i go about testing the ysus for faults

I'm at a loss, but on the bottom of the ysus are the 3 grounding screws in place? Too blurry for my eyes to decide.

dont know what happen tom i check all plugs ect like you said then tried again then got black screen ive had them out 4 times now and still cant get the picture back all buffers still test fine but with tv on im not getting vy vsc only getting upto 36v ?

Is that without the buffers? If you got half a picture, and picture was OK, the Y-sus is working. It gives the same drive waveform to both boards.

So it may have been a defective buffer board. Yes, that again. Cracked screen boards I'm assuming?

Which half of the screen not working: top half or bottom half? If bottom half, try running without bottom buffer.

On the other hand, if the same area of your buffer boards is failed, I'd start suspecting the panel - as rare as that might be, I suppose it's the only option left!

its was 3/14 from left to right that had pic and was good picture but now its all black the buffers do test fine on a meter ? with buffers in the volts r gone i didnt want to remove buffers from the ysus as didnt know if i would blow them . so should i remove them from ysus then check volt reading again tom

So TOP 3/14 of picture was OK?

Then you can run set with bottom buffer removed only (top installed.) Check -Vy and Vsc in this condition. You may get picture on top half.

You can run the TV with the buffers removed too, and check -Vy and Vsc in that condition.

no had picture from top to bottom but only 3/14 from right side looking at tv the left side was black

ok so with both buffers out i get good volt readings with any buffers in i get same upto 36v ive tried 2 diffrent ysus boards and get the same thing on both ?

Does anyone have a guid on how to test ysus and buffers on this model
As the guy who fixed my buffers befor said just becase my
Meter does not beep don't mean buffers r any good
