What happened, one day you turned it on and just a black screen, no problems before that?

Tv is circa 2009, try this easy test, heat all the electrolytic capacitors on the powerboard with a hairdryer for a couple minutes, then try the tv, don't wait til it cools down, try it while it's still hot, see if there's any change.

Do NOT touch anything with your hands while powerboard is plugged in there are some potentially DEADLY voltages on the hot side of the board and some boards can hold a big charge even after being unplugged for quite a while.

report results and we'll go from there or someone else can carry on with helping.

Try to reprogram the eeprom 24C64, most likely the TV is blocked due to exceeding the number of errors.

It could be the eeprom but this is jumping the gun, there's much easier things to try before just assuming it's the eeprom. It's odd how you just presume everyone has the tools to reprogram chips.

Try holding volume down and input WHILE plugging in tv, KEEP holding them til a display pops up, after a minute turn off tv, turn it back on and see if it works.

I may have also presumed, did you try a simple reset, unplug tv for a minute and plug it back in and try it, no joy try as #9 post.

Another test that works at times, heat the eeprom with a hairdryer for a minute, then try tv, see if there's any change. This isn't directed at you but here's a reminder. Do follow test procedures how they are written, when directed to use hairdryer by all means use hairdryer NOT heatgun, heatgun can overheat and kill eeprom.

Staying with easy things first, check all the diodes and resistors on top of the board, google is your friend for how to videos if needed.

Why check something, heat something, press something, if the problem is in the eeprom firmware.

Well lotus, can you prove that the eeprom is faulty? If not then that's why we check other things

I have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

                                          Hey guys,

I have a SHARP LC-60LE640X TV that has suddenly developed an intermittent fault of flashing white noise patches (appears like an Analog tuner off signal) and then totally dropping out.
This model I believe is also known as LC-60LE600U or LC-60LE640U in other regions.

Hey guys! It has been awhile since I've been on here. I hope everyone is doing well. I just picked up this Sharp lc-65ub30u. It plays but the screen is flashing on and off. Other than that i seems to be a great tv. Any ideas what the problem might be? I haven't pulled the back off yet. I thought I would get some opinions first. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Hello again! I have come back for some wisdom and hopefully for some guidance with this problem I'm having. The TV is a 4k 55" Sharp LC-55p6050u and the problem is every other line of the bottom 32 lines flickers out, comes mostly back, then flickers out again, and repeats this continually. The lines on the bottom right of the screen go out completely while the lines on the bottom left are affected so slightly that it's almost impossible to see it. There is a gradual gradient from appearing almost perfectly fine on the bottom left, to an obvious problem on the bottom right.

                                          The...
