Man, i faced same issue on Hisense 40 panel with integrated T-con like yours... if you search here you will find the threat.. little old... first things i did inspect the screen downside.. when i was sure no issue it had... i fixed it with panel firmware.. this issue happened when the panel driver didn't order LCD cells to discharge.. .Comment

VDA is around 14V~20V and this will depend on the design of the T-con board. The VDA voltage is generated by the DC/DC converter circuits. It is used to power the GAMMA circuits and reach the source driver board.Comment

The upper side of the inductor is wired on one side to this side of the capacitors. The other side measures 1.8V and dropping to 1.48V
The other rightmost identical inductor measures 12V on both sides and the capacitor row below it measures 14V (AVDD) and are stable
PS. I’ve sketched the connection on the picture attatched.Comment

But this is what they've sent me (it’s v4.87): https://we.tl/t-i9nIJ30OSb
I also asked them what could case that color aberration and they said most likely it’s the LCD glass substrate. But why would it randomly return to normal after 2week of not being used?
It’s frustrating cause I can’t find any similar symptom anywhere online.
You Diah said that your Hisense had a similar problem, can you share how the panel looked in your case?Comment

Jona, i think you are a little smart enough to understand this is not a mainboard / software issue,
1) panel stand alone = same fault
2) heat related fault
i'm very sad to read almost every day in this , FOR ME, good site with good technicians these fool ideas...
so please ignore those advices.. i think we are close, i suggested recover oxydated components from the beginning, not much been done until now, only the eprom, it's not so risky task if you have hot air, c'mon let's pass to the action.. maybe i go to vacancy next week, i cannot be always online.. bye.. and good luck..Comment

I will proceed with unsoldering tonight when I get back home from work. Hopefully with a steady hand 😅

by scubacamperI found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display... -
by sefosterI have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

by klassicHi community,
I will describe my problem with a TV in those short following terms to be the most precise :
What i have :
Sharp Aquos LC-60LE635E
power board DPS-162KP-1
main logic board QPWBXF733WJN2
symptoms :
white led light logo at startup,
after 2 minutes, blinking 3 times a row, repeating
no backlight (and apparently no picture, checked panel with flashlight)
no startup sound
powerboard investigations :
1-2 PNL : 0v
3-4 GND
5-6-7-8 UR : 13.15v
9-10-11-12... -
by foxyUKCan anyone help me diagnose this? Almost not worth bothering with, but it has 'sentimental value' for the owner. I'm no TV technician, but dabble a bit.
The TV has standby power but no reaction at all to switching on or reboot steps, No flashing lights or response to menu button. All voltages on the power board are correct apart from missing voltage on pin 12 of CN7003.
There is 13 v on U7053 but no 3v signal to switch it on. I don't really understand whether the 3v should come from U7401 in the standby control area, or (as suggested elsewhere) from the mainboard via pin 12.... -
Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.
