    LED-TV LG 42LE5500, HDMI no signal

    Hi, all HDMI 1 to 4 show no signal ... About tuner and scart everything is ok.
    I suspect the software update is to blame for the LG no longer works via HDMI.
    How can I make it back to the old software update??

      Why did you do a software update?

      What fault was present to make this necessary?

          software update has LG TV itself pulled over the network .... TV had before no errors. TV is for Europe and now has software version 04.00.00

          How can I update it again back to software version 03.21.03 or 3.20.21????

                              hi i have repaired few of these a/v board using broadcom processors, which are really really not fit for the job,if i was designing the main a/v board and i had to put this processor in, i would mount a fan heat sink, like they use on laptops to keep it nice and cool,bga balls crack internally(unleaded rubbish) causing all sorts of problems no hdmi,or switching to standby intermittantly, or standby led blinking,best thing get our chinise mates do a stencil for you,then reball it using lead balls, make sure bottom heater is applied to full board and pillars to hold the board stright, board warps so easy,when using bga machine,i hope this tip helps you, no use reflowing it, first thing you get warped board, or it might fix it, but it be back,best solution take the bga chip out and clean it and reball it and fit it back, once you put heatsink on make sure you put thick silcone pad that will act as a heat transfer to back cover,

                                  I am not a professional, all I can do is solder stuff on the boards, so I would really appreciate it if someone with knowledge shares his experience/thoughts on a problem I have with a PS4 console.

                                  My friend gave me an original fat PS4, board model SAB-001, with WLOD, that has been previously opened. I changed the HDMI port, couple of pads on the board were ripped, which I connected to the corresponding caps/resistors? Just did so as in a shown diagram (one of the ground pads I ripped off and left it not connected). However, there was still no signal, so...

                                  Following a power surge, the HDMI ports on a UE65MU7003U no longer work, no matter the port or the source - it shows No Signal.
                                  The other functions work well (eg Netflix app, etc.), its just the HDMI ports.

                                  Is the BN41-02568B board salvageable? Any leads before I open the heatsink cover? board replacement?...

                                  Hello all,

                                  I am trying to repair this PS5 which came in with a shorted HDMI encoder chip. This issue was not allowing the PS5 to boot and would only beep upon pressing the power button. This is the first time I've had this issue despite replacing many many HDMI ports. After installing the new chip as well as a new HDMI port the console now powers on and appears to be booting all the way but there is no video output. Looking at my HDMI tester all signals are present except for DCC Clock and DCC Data aka CK/DA on my particular tester. These two have direct connections to the encoder...

                                  theres no precise model number on the rear cover boards labelled as below

                                  there is no o/p from hdmi .its fine with scart .

                                  cant find much info on google
                                  to enter service menu .bring up a/v menu ,then 2580

                                  This is my first post here, and i would like to share with you a small story in case you can help me.

                                  Docker Type-C Gen 2 - Model 40AS. Was given to me by a friend for free ,but with the problem that you cannot use the video output ports.

                                  All ports work , USB , Ethernet, Type C ... but HDMI + Display Port don't work

                                  I searched on reddit and google for problem similar to that, and a LOT of people had fixed this problem by updating the firmware. So i tried , i searched and found 1.1.13 utility and 1.1.20 utility that can help...
