harwa 42 lcd tv no hdmi signal output

theres no precise model number on the rear cover boards labelled as below
Hi just been given this lcd tv,
ive not come across this make before
there is no o/p from hdmi .its fine with scart .
good pic for its age
the main board is 782 L42W17-690B
cant find much info on google
to enter service menu .bring up a/v menu ,then 2580
but cant move to next page ,for options
(i was hoping ther may be an option to switch on/off hdmi/dvi)
the reason for this , is when hdmi is selected it says: no dvi signal
not: no hdmi signal
i checked esr values of caps on main board and found a few suspect
(and replaced them )
but fault persists
i will post some pics as soon as i can get help to turn it over as its very heavy
to move

does anyone have cct for main board?
the switching ic is ref number:NA05 OR N405
cant make out the number on the ic ,it looks like :ST 19011 CLU
but searching for this gives no results.
(one of the caps above hdmi socket
on esr was borderline
so i tacked a cap across it just to test)

its a HARWA not hanwa ,must be getting old!
heres a cct using same main board as my 42 "
still think its possible to change setting from DVI to HDMI
if i could only move to next page in s menu

The hdmi is likely an INPUT not an OUTPUT, connect a hdmi source to the hdmi port and see if shows up in the menu.

not sure what you mean sorry.
i am only using hdmi socket as an i/p
feed from sat box ,
the lead from sat box works fine with other tvs .
my main concern is :if i dont feed a signal to hdmi socket
swich av from scart to hdmi
tv searches for a signal then says no DVI SIGNAL not no HDMI signal

this cct is nearer to actual cct .certain electrolytics vary but page 44 has cct of hdmi switch ic N405

progress ,of sorts!
the supply 3.3v to ic n405 was down to 3.0v
and the reg was slightly warmer than normal
after removing components l403
i found a 40 ohm resistance to deck on pins 49 ,53.57 61 this proved ic n405 was faulty
removed with s/station now s/c gone problem is,
its obsolete but im ordering one from china
and keeping fingers crossed that it is a good one
its interesting that the tv works fine without this ic (on scart of course)i will update when it arrives .i will keep a look out for a board but they are like rocking horse droppings!

Don't know any tv that has HDMI output? maybe i'm wrong ,only have older LCD and led tv.And Scart is not on the same Switch of the Hdmi input or output. You can get a scart cable or adapter to connect to an HDMI or vice versa.

what i meant was there was no pic on screen when hdmi was connected

If no pic when Hdmi is connected on the TV ,it means the TV hdmi input is bad. Unless the Hdmi output of the receiver/cable box,Tv box is bad,.to check connect to another tv to make sure,if it's good then it's the tv Hdmi input is bad,it happens many times when people connect Hdmi cable to the TV with receiver on and tv on ,it damages the hdmi inputs and you have to replace the damaged Hdmi switch on the main board . Always it's good practice to turn off all the devices and and then connect Hdmi cables.

its interesting that the tv works fine without this ic (on scart of course)


If it works with Scart .if it was me i wouldn't bother much..
