Yes the same behavior on the new board.

To clarify the issue, this is how it looks, no matter the port (1,2,3), the tv does not recognize a device is connected.

are you answering to me? please i don't see some users post because of black list, i am interested that you answer to my post n.9, have you done the fail count trick?
And also, how can you state that there was a.power surge? Other equipements failed at same time? Bad weather?

Do you get to another similar screen "Device Detected" and want's you to do a manual setup?
I would definitely try a different HDMI cable like a 4k cable. Depending what you use as an HDMI source, change the picture format, like size and frequency (Hz).

Davi.p Yes I tried removed the "fail count" pin from the connector, it didn't help. I also tried disconnecting the backlight from the psu, didn't help as well (checked with a flashlight).

The power surge was due a lightning. It fried a sat/dvb-t receiver that was connected.

CapLeaker I tried a couple of them, they all fail on this TV. They work on others of course. I don't get any other screen - its not detecting any thing.

But you did not tried all the advice, ok, i do not insist, but at least it's time to get a full keys remote, and enter to the service menu, i think you have to do first a service reset, if no changes can inspect a voice like fail count, or fail count reset, i don't know that model, can be requested to enter the advanced menu using service remote simulation by android phone+ir blaster+wav files

If you connected the hdmi cable “hot”, that is, the TV was connected to the socket and the signal device too, and when connecting the cable, a discharge could occur (HDMI is very sensitive to static) and damage the processor, at the moment after operating the TV for half an hour, the radiator is very It heats up, if so, then only replace the motherboard.

You can use a multimeter to check the resistance relative to ground (ground) of the signal lines (differential pairs), there are 8 lines on each HDMI, there should not be short or low resistance, especially since Samsung did not install TVS diode assemblies on their inputs for protection, although there are seats .

still i don't think there are HW issue with original mainboards .. could be the register of the HDMI has being now blank or changed... log in service menu from Standby state and from there hard reset will register all HDMI again.

I am in front of a 40MU6300… weird. You did a factory reset on the new board?

To close the loop here - I did try everything on the two boards that I had (factory reset, etc.).
Got a new power supply from ebay - still no signal on HDMI with two of the boards.
After getting a new board from Aliexpress (together with the new PSU, didn't bother to check the old one) - HDMI works as expected

                    Thanks all.

PS4 fat has inconsistent signal after HDMI replacement
                      by supravit2000
                      Hi, guys!

I am not a professional, all I can do is solder stuff on the boards, so I would really appreciate it if someone with knowledge shares his experience/thoughts on a problem I have with a PS4 console.

My friend gave me an original fat PS4, board model SAB-001, with WLOD, that has been previously opened. I changed the HDMI port, couple of pads on the board were ripped, which I connected to the corresponding caps/resistors? Just did so as in a shown diagram (one of the ground pads I ripped off and left it not connected). However, there was still no signal, so...

                      by Xristakis795
                      hi to all
i have the above model ue40d5003
the damage was definitely caused in my case by a generator that I installed burned the protection at power supply of tv and created the following problem
when I have not connected the antenna, any input source lights up normally i can insert on the menu and the tv doesnt reboot
when I connect, the antenna or hdmi signal however, when it goes to show an image, the image appears momentarily and then restarts appears the logo and the same again.the lights of standby blinking continously
Can you tell me from your experience...

HDMI Inputs Have No Signal - Samsung UN65MU6290
                      by dumpstertv
Hi all, I have a Samsung UN65MU6290 TV, and it works fine using its internal smart TV functions but I'm unable to get signal from any of the HDMI inputs. The optical audio out works, and there's one other component jack but I don't have the cables to test that. Checking the TV's diagnostics, the "HDMI SW IC" says "NG," so I assume the main board either needs to be repaired or replaced.

I saw some mail-in repair services, which I'm considering, but my main question is, if I choose to go the replacement route, do I need *exactly* the same board? There are a lot...
