Re: lg 42lg5000 no screen power or sound
This TV does not use a Y-sustain board. It's an LCD.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: lg 42lg5000 no screen power or sound
By unplugging things one by 1 then checking the voltage when I plugged that invertor in it was taking the voltage to the A board from 16.5v to 0.9vComment

Re: lg 42lg5000 no screen power or sound
That COULD indicate a short circuit. Did you also check the 24V?Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Good troubleshooting, would seem to indicate that is at fault.
Did you ever get time to troubleshoot 58"? Did you find that fuse blown or not? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by grimacelordHello,
I have an HP 15-eh1070wm laptop that came to me for the same reasons I am starting this thread. The charging LED appears when the laptop power adapter is connected and the power LED appears when pressing the power button, but nothing appears on screen.
First thing I did was take off the bottom panel and remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then reinstall the battery and power on. The fan spins and this time, the back light illuminates and a brief message appears on the screen for about 1 second saying something along like,...-

by joaquinmjuanHello, I have a Canon TS8350 printer. The problem is that when I turn it on, "CANON" appears on the screen, but it never goes away. You can leave it on for a whole day, and it doesn't go away. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried unplugging it, but nothing. I've also tried holding down POWER, but nothing. In fact, once it turns on, it can't be turned off with the Power button. I've also held down Power and then plugged it into the Power supply, and the power light flashes once and doesn't turn on, but then when I press Power again, it turns on. Currently, it's a nearly new paperweight,...05-07-2025, 12:26 AM

by sam_sam_samI have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump
One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy... - Loading...
