There is no need to change which motherboard the problem is in the panel (in the buffer strips), if the panel is AUO, then as always the TVS diodes assemblies, take a photo of the buffer strips on the left and right sides.

Again, you canโ€™t prove anything, watch the video to see what the problems are with these panels!

i don't need to watch You tube fake...i have enough Philips under my hand, ESD diode over all panels will remain work if you remove them..

is this ok to leave panel without those diodes? What are they for?

Well, we saw it, it's good that we didn't order the motherboard, and the same problem would have remained!
You don't need to install these diodes, they are more problems than they are worth.

ESD can be moved as i said before--- ... they are not JUST DIODE,,,, as they are controlled with Freq. this i wrote before,,, this freq generated and monitored by MB.-- oscilloscope will show you.. not ohmmeter. say its diy .. i will accepet it... but don't say issue or repair

This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

my philips 58PUS8105/12 has started acting weird.
its getting these lines across it and sometimes a strange black half circle sometimes appears on the right hand side edge of the screen, the screen is cool to the touch all the way around except where you get to that black halfcircle about the size of a smartie right on the bezel edge of the screen, its quite hot.

Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesnโ€™t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                                            Hello everyone,

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code.
