yea its high for a used one and hard to find i learned i will never buy tv;s this big again they just take up too much room and a used main same number as mine just sold for $135

It looks like you have case #2 but too bad it does not show the lines in details in color to show if it looks like your screen.
And @100 for the T-CON that could have been a big gamble as well. If it's around $20~30 range then I would have try the T-CON. Live and learn, I guess.

May be, it has to be something on the that side of the connector that feeds the signal to right side of the panel (looking at the back side of the panel). Good picture of that T-CON?

It looks like the Two Black ICs are mirror image for each ribbon cable to the LCD panel. Can you remove the thermal pads so you can see if they have the same P/N on the top?

That is going to be real hard to probe the output traces from the IC to the connector feeding the panel to see if you can see the difference between the two.
You can try heating with hair dryer to see if it is affected by heat, just do not do it more than a minute.

yea cant do that now its past midnight ppl r sleeping
in looking at the zoomed pic of the ic think i see a burn mark by the number 128? and cracks on the chip casing?

I went and looked at my collection of bad LCD panel, T-CON board and see this one:

I should have looked through some of my pictures first to remind me some of the symptoms I have seen with bad panel and bad T-CON.

That one was due to bad 2.5V regulator on the main board, it was putting out 2.0V instead of 2.5V (VIZIO TV). You would think that it will affect the WHOLE screen and would not think it will be the main board either. That is why it is hard to be 100% when you see bad pictures on the screen.

Do you to start by check the DC voltages on those two connectors on the top where the ribbons cables from the panel are connected to?

ok i see cn700 and 701 but where do i check the voltages at? all i see is a bunch of little holes on it
