JVC LT-40V750 stuck in service mode switching colors.

The tv is stuck in service mode, i have unpluged it for several times, tryed to power it separate from remote , tryed some reset method using menu button and 4725 typed twice in a row to enter or disable the service mode but it didn't work. The board has no damaged components, could it need a fresh firmware or the emmc could be dead?

Try holding in the power button on tv, hold it til the screen changes, shouldn't take more than a minute if it's going to work.

Could try a firmware update, had an old sony with same symptom, update fixed it, some tvs you need to select things with remote to continue update, this old sony kdl did not, you just plug in usb drive and turn on tv, when it was done the front led changed to a solid color, took about 30 minutes. Important to make sure it's done, could brick tv if an update is interrupted before it's finished.

its much like you have broken contact pins on the LVDS ,, need to inspect carefully... if they are 100% fine... then from any firmware for 17MB97..use only the script txt file.... and comment all # till the end keep only the line reset

Stick firmware. Try at your own risk. If the remote control no longer works, use a programmable one. Cred ca stii procedura de instalare.

Quick update, i found another 17MB97 good working board, and the pannel acts the same with the donor board switching colors.

Maybe check if lvds cable has continuity from end to end.

Looks like a solder blob, wonder how that got there.

A bolt was inserted longer than necessary or it was tightened without a stand and the bolt damaged the cable.

Problem solved, by replacing the lvds flex, the owner just realized when i told him that he tryed to fix it on the holder and he put one of the screw in the wrong hole.

Ok, I thought someone must have put a long screw thru it, it's a hole, when I clicked the picture to enlarge it, looked like a solder blob with a tip on it but just an optical illusion.
