If you had 24V before make sure all your jumpers are in place like the ones for STBY ON/OFF...

tom if i use the jumpers on
pin 6 STBY_ONOFF
pin 8 BL_ON/OFF
pin 10 B_DIM
pin 14 +5VSTBY_2
then i only get 5v from the blue wire and no 24v
if i use a jumper on
pin 6 STBY_ONOFF
pin 8 BL_ON/OFF
pin 10 B_DIM
i get 24v on invertor but the blue cable is 0v
i can short the backlight to come on but it just flickers using
pin 6 STBY_ONOFF
pin 8 BL_ON/OFF
pin 10 B_DIM

I'll try and have a look at this tomorrow. Bump up the post if I forget.
I do remember when I jumpred the backlight on the 26" 17PW25-4 it flickered for the first 3 seconds... I think it wanted to stabilise the output first which the main board would normally wait for.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

pin 12 +12V
yes the 24v is stable i can only get the backlight to flicker by touching pin 12 with a wire ,if i leave the wire in pin 12 then it trys to start backlight but it fails so i have to keep shorting pin 12 to make the backlight flickerComment

What about if you also connect pin 28 on the connector going to the main board?

I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection... -

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.

Hi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue.... -
