Do not quote me but as far as I know you have to get the part number correct...

That part is E1, yours is A1

I'm pretty sure it has to be exact though

          mmoore5553,

I sent you a PM with a link but noticed that one is also an A1. Really don't know about compatibility on that vs. the E1 so better not go for it.

Well bad news and i am not sure what to do. I got the other board from the user and it was warped a tad. I hooked it up and turned it on and nothing on the screen. No OSD or anything. I then hooked back up the old part and OSD showed. I guess it was not a working part. Should i buy another one on ebay. I think i found one and what numbers do i match up. I matched up the 1455e1 and the part number.

Okay i found this on ebay and went ahead and bought it

                http://www.ebay.com/itm/121234112805

All number match except the top red numbers. Am i missing something on the parts or do you think i just got a bad board ?

Also scroll down to see the part on ebay.

Yeah bad board, happens when you get them off ebay as most sellers do not have the means to test them before shipping, and they were ripped out of broken sets

                  Send it back!

Good luck with the next board

I swear I can not win. I got another one with all numbers matching up execept the top numbers as before and nothing with the OSD. This can not be two bad ones. I am at a lost. I am not sure if i should continue to try to fix this one or not. I am just dump founded. Any one else have any ideas. I can take a picture of the new part and it looks in new condition.

buying used T-con board anywhere could be a problem. If the LCD screen is badly cracked and there is no picture visible on the LCD screen, then most seller will assume this board is working or they will "let the buyer test it out". So you get to play the hit or miss game.

I think I am going to give up on this one and part it out. Not sure if anyone is interested in any of the parts or not.

Okay i got another tcon board in today and replace and same as the others. The TV lights up blue so it should be on but there is nothing on the panel. I can not even get on screen menu. I putron the old one in and it works fine. I can pull up the menu. Any one have any ideas on what to do next.

I got this board from river valley electronics which i thought would be a good company to buy from.

If the t-con is an exact part possibly it's a bad part.

I thought i would come back and post what has finally happen. I have went threw about 4 t-con boards. Lucky, everyone i bought for had prepaid shipping back. I finally got a part here

                                http://www.rivervalleyelectronics.ne...ontroller.aspx

the first one did not work and they did a prepaid shipping back to them and the second one worked great.

Thank you everyone for helping me. So for 60 bucks total i got a new tv. I am giving it to my brother as a late present. Just stinks the stand does not have the screws.

I have one more tv which i will start a new thread.

Anyone know how to find out the screws for the actual stand and screws for the base to tv ? I did not see anything in the manual listing them.
