[Help] with a ASUS X55A-119SX Bios Flash (CH341A programmer)

    Hi,
I hope everything is alright with you guys.

First of all, thank you very much for the forum, they are fantastic, very informative.
I have read a few treread but I have a little problem when trying to program my BIOS.
Starting at the beginning, I have an Asus X55A-119X that needed to update the bios (for V.417), I started to do it, but my little son disconnected the laptop from the power when WinFlash was in the "erase" phase. In other words, the laptop has become a paperweight.
I don't have much experience in electronics, I study here and there. So I decided that since everything was already lost, to acquire the CH341A, with an alligator claw.
Here the problems begin, I have already downloaded all the software versions available on the web, I try all step-by-step, but all of them always give some error.

CHIP is a Winbond 25Q64FVSIG 1227, MB is an X55A Main Board Rev. 2.1.
When using the latest version CH341A_V1.1.1.33 it is the one that gives hope, as it is more recent, but when reading the eprom it only detects in the field memory size: 512 bytes and the size of page 4byte which makes it impossible to place the bios made available by Asus (sent in attachment to take a look).

I would love to recover this laptop, and I feel that I am doing something wrong. Along I send other errors of the other versions:

CH341A_V1.18: When I click detect half of the epron information appears (send photo)
CH341A_V1.29: When I click detect, more information appears, but when loading the file and clicking on automatic it gives the message (sending photo)
CH341A_V1.30: When I click detect it gives an error (send photo)
CH341a_V1.34: When I click detect, more information appears, but when clicking check it gives an error (sending photo)
CH341A_V1.41: Neither locates the Chip (send photo)

I do as other thread step-by-step, connect to a USB3 port, I tried it on USB2 too. I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong, because I always have a hard time putting the claw on.
    Can you give a hand?
I already thank you very much. And reinforcement forum have been fantastic.
Last question, the BIOS file can be the manufacture? On Asus site I download the BIOS file, the 417, and the first release.

Thanks very much & sorry about my bad English (I'm from Portugal)

Use NeoProgrammer software instead, and desolder the chip if you can, then post your bios backup here .

[TUTORIAL] fix asus bios with bios from asus web support (by razor_amd)
      by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

M715q Desktop (ThinkCentre) - Type 10M3 - Request bios chip location and useable bios for use with CH341A Programmer.

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
      1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
      2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
      3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

ASUS ROG Ally X - (Handheld Gaming PC)
      Model No: RC72LA
      Serial No: SBNVKD001014459

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

The right BIOS Programmer - The right software (HP Elitebook 820 G1, 840 G2) no soldering, EC, DMI, ME
      by STKR123
      Greetings badcaps community,

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

      I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

      I learned that desoldering...

Thinkpad t480s, completely dead after BIOS flash using CH341A programmer
      by what_1282105
Following this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/co...g_and_flashing) i re-flashed my t480s BIOS using an external (CH341A) programmer. The flash didnt work, so i reverted back to my BIOS backup successfully. The BIOS in the chip and the BIOS backup file are identical according to windows' file compare. The revert, however, didnt work: the only thing the computer does is flash the power button 3 times when AC power is connected. I've tried unplugging the CMOS battery, holding the reset button and holding down the power button- no signs of life....
